I shoot him a quick text, asking him to come by the packhouse whenever he was ready. I walk back to the window and watch with admiration as Willow beats the shit out of the dummy. There is so much anger in her. She has a temper to match her fiery locks that’s for sure. I close the curtain and make my way out to join her and Xander on the lawn. I’m sure she is anxious to get her blood test results back. When I step out on the lawn, she sends the now decapitated head of the self-defense dummy hurtling in my direction, narrowly missing my face, letting me know just how pissed off she still is. I capture the head and look at her, her eyes shooting daggers at me.

“We could save all these people from so much heartache and pain.” But future Willow shakes her head. “This is the beginning of the end. This needs to happen.” I open my mouth to protest once more, but Willow presses her fingers to her lips. “Go home,” she says to me. “He is waiting for you.” "Wait!" I yell after Willow, but she is already running into the arms of Osiris. Osiris lifts her in his arms and spins her around before placing a passionate kiss on her lips. The vision fades away, and my eyes flutter open. The car has stopped moving. I have no idea how long I was fighting against the fires. It felt like hours, but it could have been just minutes.

The memory of past attacks lingered like a shadow over their steps. As I helped a young mother lift a beam into place, I noticed Willow observing from the nearby fence, her small form bouncing with impatience. Willow stood frozen in place. Her eyes were shimmering with unshed tears, and her fists were clenched so tightly that her knuckles turned white. Yet, she stubbornly kept her chin up. "What did you just say, Willie?" Caspian stared at her in disbelief. Willow yanked her hand out of his and choked out, "Mr. Henderson, what will it take for you to leave me alone? Your wife wants to rip my clothes off in public. Are you satisfied now?"

Willow said as she turned her attention ahead. "My dad is too damn stubborn to speak up first sometimes to." Amira let out a sigh. The women met gazes before sharing a small laugh together. "It's up ahead here." Amira pointed past two large oak trees where a large bush sat between them. Willow felt her heart quicken just as her pace did. She walked around the oak tree and came to an abrupt halt. In the center of this small clearing knelt her mentor. She withheld her emotions as she walked forward and knelt down in front of the statue. Her gaze dropped down to the grass hugged around the edges of Janice's long skirt. Her gaze went up to the cardigan as she ran a finger over one of the buttons

"Get behind me," Willow said as if he sensed danger He looked around but didn't see anything. "Hurry, get on the horse now," he said Quickly, I hurried and got on the horse and he joined me on the same horse Hahhh!!! We rode off into the woods. Suddenly our horse stop and refused to move any further. And was just turning around. Willow calmed the horse down and came down.

The sun's golden light filtered down through the branches of the willow that skirted the meadow, its withered twigs trembling like dry sentinels sharing a secret. Adrian stayed at the border of the trees, watching as Elara made her way across the waist-high grasses, the faint blue hem of her dress rubbing against wildflowers. She still had not seen him. He spoke not a word. He just watched.
