Novel & Cerita Waking Up With Bloodshot Eyes

I have never felt that scared before in my entire life. The next day was an almost exact repeat of the day before. I woke up with a massive headache and found that I was alone in the room. That made sense since Ren left the night before. I slept alone and woke up alone. My eyes hurt and felt very swollen from all the crying that I did last night. One look in the mirror confirmed that my eyes and lips were swollen. The bags under my eyes were bigger and darker than yesterday.

BEN POV I groan loudly as I roll over. My head feels like it is splitting. My body feels like it was run over by a bus. I manage to make it to the restroom on autopilot. I empty the tank and head to the sink to wash my hands. When I see my face in the mirror, shock floods my system. I look like warmed-over death. My eyes are bloodshot, and my skin is deathly pale. My under eyes look like I haven't slept in years. What the hell happened last night?

My head felt lightheaded until I felt like losing consciousness and black dots filled my vision. No, no, don't. You will die if you sleep! Don't, don't, Jaidyn! I fluttered my eyes open, breathing heavily. My gaze went outside where smoke was coming. Smoke! I bit my lower lip and pushed myself up. "AHHH'' I cried out, feeling so much pain coming from my arm and head. I felt liquid dripping down my forehead and I weakly raised my hand, touching my skin. And the sight of blood on my hands was not a good sign. My gaze was starting to feel blurry.

We’ve been hiding out here and I cant even close my eyes at night because I feel like Octavious is hovering over me. I splashed my face with the cold water before I took a look at myself in the rusted mirror as I glanced over my tired features. I looked exhausted and basically dead. My eyes were sunken in and there were dark circles around my eyes as though someone had given me two black eyes. My skin had lost its glow and I felt like I was losing my mind.

I slowly climbed out of bed, careful to not wake him up. I went into the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes were swollen and red. My nose was red and I could see where I had rubbed the skin off of it clearly. I closed my eyes and a vision of Falcon smiling at me flashed before my eyes. I clutched the edge of the sink and pressed my forehead against the mirror.

My whole body hurts as I drag myself out of bed and in to the bathroom. I flip on the light and immediately wish I hadn't looked in the mirror. My eyes are swollen and puffy, with dark purple circles underneath them that look almost like bruises. No amount of concealer is going to hide this damage. My skin looks pale and blotchy, like I've been sick. I look like I've spent the entire night crying, even though I haven't shed a single tear. I've just been thinking. Thinking and worrying and trying to make sense of everything.

Blood. The metallic tang of blood on my tongue jolted me awake. I blinked against the harsh morning light streaking through the windows. My vision was blurry and unfocused, but as I tried to move my hands, the sticky liquid that coated them anchored me to reality. The haze I’d woken up with was now gone. The blood that streaked across my fingers and the flesh under my nails were unmistakable.

Jax I wake up slowly, like I’m dragging myself out of thick, dark water. The first thing I feel is pain…sharp and immediate, sitting right behind my eyes. I groan softly and squeeze them shut again, hoping it’ll pass, but it pass, but it doesn’t. It only pushes harder. When I finally force my eyes open, everything is unfamiliar.

I had to squirm on my bed for hours just to get them open. By the time I could actually wake up and look at the time… about half a day would’ve passed by then. It was truly a trauma when I saw my time getting wasted off like that. However, that’s not the only problem. With my blurry eyesight as I stared at the mirror— I was greeted with a set of blood-shot eyes and a thick bag of dark circles under them. Even if I’m not really the type to care about my appearance… that was a really horrible looking face.

"Have you ever done something bad to me?!" I squeeze my hands into fists and shake my head no. "Fine," Grayson growls in my sleep. "You got what you wanted." His mean face wakes me up fast with a big jump. Gasp! I sit up in the dark bed, holding the blanket tight to my chest while I breathe like I ran a race. The clock says 4:00 AM, but my brain will not let me go back to sleep. When the sun comes up, I look in the mirror and see big dark circles under my eyes. I have to rub a super thick layer of makeup on my face just to hide them.
