I murmured, as I felt myself being pulled away. I sat up straight in bed, sweat beading my forehead, struggling to breathe. I looked down at my hands and the blue fire that I received from Kiran was no longer there. It had been replaced by a silvery blue flame. It felt more powerful, and the sensation scared me.

Vanessa said, her eyes downcast. "Look, can we just start over? I know we started off on the wrong foot" she said and I heaved a sigh. "Alright" I said, hoping I wasn't making a grave mistake.
