There was murmuring and indistinct chatter amongst the small crowd, sounding like insect trilling. Suddenly Carl walked in and reduced in pace on seeing the sullen looks on everyone's face. "Hey"he drawled and rolled his eyes. " Hey Carl, welcome man" Brad smirked. He arose from his divan and hugged Carl and patted his back. Carl was wearing a blue suit and black shoes. He wore no shirt inside and so his broad chest protruded. "So what is it? I came here as soon as I got the call"he said and quickly picked a glance at me. My face was firm and frowned.

Just as they were about to instruct someone to dispose of the body, Yosef spoke up. "Leave it." As Carl stepped into the back hall of the mansion, he was greeted by a chilling scene. Yosef, clad in a dark shirt, meticulously wiped his slender fingers with a towel. Beneath his feet lay a corpse. The vivid red blood starkly contrasted against the white tiles, a gruesome sight. Yosef remained focused on cleaning his fingers, his expression indifferent, his unnaturally pale complexion contrasting sharply against the black leather sofa behind him. He resembled a dangerous yet aristocratic vampire seated on his throne.

With a loud crash, the door burst open, and the two bodyguards who had been holding it fell inside, writhing in pain. Everyone in the room froze. Dressed in a long black coat, Carl stepped inside, his presence radiating an icy menace. Around his neck was Renee’s scarf, and his hair carried the last remnants of snow, falling softly as he moved. His dark eyes, fierce and stormy, scanned the room with a chilling intensity that made everyone shrink back in fear. Travis’s face twitched as he forced a smile. “Uncle, long time no see. I sprayed my perfume before walking out of the room, feeling myself. I and Carl met downstairs and decided to wait for his mummy. “You look dashing son,” I complimented him and he smiled. He had slept off a while ago but woke up on his own when it was time for him to dress up for the dinner.
