Wally West Dead Novels & Stories

After that, he turned around and gave the Sacred Spring Water to Fiona, who he said needed "recovery." Vivian wiped her tears and looked at him coldly. "You took her only chance to survive and gave it to someone else. You killed Daisy!" When Vincent heard those words, he started shaking. His strength gave out, and he dropped to the floor. "So she really was sick... I thought she was just causing trouble. I killed her..." Then something seemed to hit him. He lifted his head suddenly. "Soul Decay Syndrome is a fatal condition caused by long-term depression and emotional distress. Daisy was my Luna. She never suffered like that. How could she have gotten something like this?"

Every single passing second felt like an agonizing eternity. My mind was a chaotic blur. Alayna's face, the impostor's face, and the face of the man in the photograph kept overlapping until I couldn't tell reality from illusion. Suddenly, the door flew open. It wasn't Ethan. It was the tech officer who had brought in the earlier report. His face was entirely bloodless, looking visibly worse than before. "Mr. Collins, this is bad." I bolted upright. "What happened?" When he opened his mouth, his voice was tight as he said, "The team just got to Westwood Serenity Residences… Ray is dead."

It was William, the Alpha from the Ice Plains Pack, standing behind me. His voice was filled with sorrow, "When you sent him to the Ice Plains, I knew he died painfully. But I didn’t expect... A ten-year-old cub, betrayed by his pack, mauled by lone wolves, abandoned by his father... and forced to watch himself bleed to death." Andrew's final memories were of waiting for death. Even if I had reached him in time, I wouldn’t have been able to save him because the only crystal healing chamber had been taken over by Lucas.

Wade stood in the corridor, staring toward the operating room for quite some time. He knew Alicia's injuries weren't all that severe. Rubbing the center of his brows, he glanced at his watch. His heart sank. Without hesitation, Wade turned and rushed out of the building. He searched the area where Alicia had tossed his phone and eventually found it under the bushes near her ward's window. Switching it on, Wade saw several missed calls from Charles and Bradley. Yet none came from Janice.

I guess without one of their leader they had no reason to keep fighting. Karla was no longer a wolf, she was now made human. Her body was naked and she had a shot in her chest. She looked pale and dying. Wade takes off his jacket and covers her with it. -We're going to get out of this, okay? Just hold on," he says to her, "a doctor! Do something! -he yells at us. But nobody does anything, nobody moves. -Wuddie," Karla whispers, raising her hand to try to touch his face but it doesn't reach, his hand falls to the ground as his pupils dilate completely: he was dead.

“But I'm grateful. Elena was an important part of my life, and I will always respect the memories we shared.” Vivian's expression slowly softened. She understood what he was doing. One of the guests who knew me looked at Vivian. “I remember when Elena use to come for shopping. What actually happened to her?” The room became quiet again. Adrian's hand tightened slightly around Vivian's shoulder. “She died,” he answered. The words struck me harder than I expected. Not because I didn't know he believed I was dead. But because he said it so easily. “She died in an accident,” he continued. “It was a painful period for me. I eventually had to move forward.”

"Tell me it's fake. The death certificate—it's fake, right? He's not dead!" Danny exhaled hard, eyes already heavy with the answer. He pulled out a stack of papers and slid them over. "I'm sorry, Dr. Foster. It's real." On top—plain and brutal: [William Wright. Date of Death: March 17, 2020. Cause: hemorrhagic shock.] Delia jerked her hand back like it burned, then snatched the page again, her fingers shaking. A tear hit the corner, smearing the ink. "No... this isn't possible..."

Zayn laid hold of his shirt and snared, "Who the fvck are you all?" He laughed and sniffed with blood running out of his nose, "We are the revolution" He slowly let go of the body to the ground and the man was gone. He was dead. Zayn turned and his eyes met with that of Allegra whose fist was tightened. She said to him, "Another dead end, these guys keep dying like it's nothing" "It sounds strange but they die after saying, Hail, Alpha Ajax. Like an activator for the death or something"

Von’s POV Through the hospital window, Chris's covered body was being prepared for the morgue. One conspiracy architect dead, the other about to be captured. "We're winning," I said quietly. "Winning feels like drowning," Marissa replied. "Just slower." Before I could respond, Marcus's phone buzzed with an alert. He checked it, face going white. "We have a massive problem." "What?" He turned the phone toward us. News headline, breaking: RICHARD HALE DEAD IN APPARENT SUICIDE AT LAX

And it definitely did not mention a fucking word about wolves. Nobody outside the operation knows how he died. Or what Marcus’ people really are. There is no innocent version of events in which a delegate from Riley’s knows about the signal or the wolves. Unless. Maya keeps her face still. It may be the hardest physical act she performs in two lifetimes. She holds the polite attention. The measured sorrow. The expression of a commander receiving sympathy from an ally. Not one muscle reports the collapse taking place behind her eyes. Because the thought arrives whole.
