I was grateful for it, but then again, I just said to him, "West. We are going to the West, okay?" "Okay but what exactly are we going to do there?" he asked. I paused and turned to stare at him, "Do you usually ask so many questions?" "Hey, I'm just being curious," he replied. I stood there for a while, staring at him, and finally said, "Okay, if you want to know where we are headed, then try catching up." After speaking, I began to run, and instantly, Walker started running after me. I was faster, much faster than him.

Zach and Xaden mimicked my howl and Harley let out a growl. “I want to go for a run,” I told them and I’m not even sure where it was coming from, but I had this strong urge to just run. Xaden took off first and I went after him. I ran fast, well aware that the others were on my tail. I could feel the ground quaking from Harley’s large bear form. I picked up speed, dodging through trees and leaping over logs as if I had done this many times in the past. I ran so fast that everything around me started to blur and I knew I was way ahead of the others, including Xaden.

Tilly was over joyed with finally been free. Dax turned into his wolf Edon and Tilly ran to him and was brushing up against him. Edon seemed to be enjoying it. "Fancy going for a run?" Dax mind linked me. "let's go." I told Tilly to run and boy did she run. The speed going through her legs and muscles just pushing her forward she had no problem keeping up with Edon at all. Edon stopped just before the lake. I however didn't and charged straight into him so that he landed into the water. I was in stitches at the look on Edon's face.

RANDALL… I have always suspected that he had a crush on her, as he never found his mate. I then turn to Virion and say, “Virion, you stay here just in case Annalise managed to get away from them and come back here. Wallace, you're with me. She was heading in the direction of that creek just outside the Northwestern border.” Virion wasn’t happy, but he followed my orders as Wallace and I ran into the woods. We didn’t shift and about halfway to the spot on the creek, Wallace says,

As he stood by the window, looking out of it, his back to Damon, asking the girl's question, he looked at the road, and he thought: "Holy fuck" "What?" Damon called. There was the guy they were looking for, running down the road, running in a zigzag in case there was a shooter overhead. At one point, he turned, seeing Derinem at the window, and threw a middle finger at him. "Damon, he's getting away." Without waiting for a response, he jumped down from the window. Jumping down stories, his hands supporting himself on the rail before he landed on the ground on his hands and feet.

I slowed down to a walk and bore through the pain until it had lesson and I could resume running full speed again. Wyatt slows down and stands beside me as we continue to walk through the halls. However, he doesn’t say anything. Does he know what I’m going through? Suddenly, Gus’ words at the bus station come flooding back to me. How does he know that I’m running away from something? I could have just been going to visit family. He didn’t know. However, the look in his eye almost makes me think that maybe he did know, but how.

I would ask him later, after this. It didn’t take long before Alpha Jace’s wolf, Zero, howled to the moon, signaling the start of the run. Soon, paws thudded the earth as Zero ran first, followed by the newly shifted pups and then Austin’s warriors, including Marshall and Harlene. ‘Are you ready?’ Austin asked. I nodded my head as if he could see me. ‘Ready… Please, don’t let me fall.’ ‘Just hold on tightly, and we’ll take care of you.’ He said before he began walking and then jogging slowly.

Wes smiles. "Just run somewhere. Anywhere nearby," he gestures outside, "and remember to get there quickly." His instructions are crystal clear, but kind of embarrassing. I don't want to run in front of these super-werewolves. I'll look stupid. Xavier gives me a gentle nudge, and I give it, starting with a slow blast toward a nearby tree. My slow jog kicks me in the face and I start wishing for a hat. "Pick up!" Jake calls with a laugh as I begin to zoom with my strangely unstubby legs toward the goal. My breathing is heavy and labored as I run toward the bark, and it seems to get farther away with each stride.

It trails down my face. " I am a runner Wesley, I can't stay in one place for too long, I can't get comfortable because it can get dangerous." " What are you running away from?" I take a few seconds before I answer, letting truth burst out of my tongue. " I'm running away from that monster, that's my father."
