I checked the backseat to make sure I grabbed my gym bag, and headed out of the human city and into the pack lands. The drive was always peaceful, the dessert turning into mountains with an expansive wildlife. My father somehow convinced a High Priestess to create barriers, no one unless they were members of the alpha pack could enter, and if they tried they would burn from the inside out before there was nothing left.
