Novel & Cerita Warrior Cat Mapleshade

Lila sighed internally. Worth asking. The warrior folded his arms. "You traveled all this way for that?" "Yes." "And you expected us to simply hand it over?" "Not really." At least he smiled a little after that. The tension eased slightly. But only slightly. "The pendant stays here." Lila studied him carefully. "Then how do I earn it?" The question surprised them. Eventually the oldest warrior spoke. "There is a cave above the eastern cliffs." Lila listened carefully. "Inside lives a mountain cat that's been attacking our hunters for weeks. Kill it."

As we descended into the subterranean colosseum, the noise became overwhelming. Two thousand warriors filled the stone tiers of the cavern. These were the Shadow Warriors—the battle-scarred outcasts of the Dead Woods. They were alphas, betas, and omegas who had been rejected by their birth packs, criminals who had survived the brutal winter wilderness, and veterans of forgotten border wars. They didn't wear uniforms; they wore heavy furs, iron chains, and leather straps over bodies covered in jagged claw scars. They were savage, and radiated a volatile pressure.

She is giving instructions to the new Warrior Chief she appointed, and Mathew notices their trainings are a bit more intense than usual, as though the Alpha is expecting to be involved in a battle with another pack or something. Marcus, Mathew notices, has joined the warriors as well. Great for him. After the humiliation he has gone through of having the highest position in the pack taken away from him, being a warrior is a wise choice. A warrior position is a very respectable position in any pack. Marcus must know that Emily already told him that she found out about the wife and now hates him, because, as soon as he sees Mathew, Marcus starts trying to strike a conversation with Emily. Math

And with those words, she vanished just as quickly as she had come. I turned to my warriors and nodded, signaling that it was time to attack. "Guys, get ready," I shouted, my voice echoing across the battlefield. "On the count of three, you will be in a position to attack." As I counted down, I watched as most of my warriors began to shift into their wolf form, their eyes glowing with fierce determination. But as I prepared to join them, I felt a sudden resistance within me. It was Jada, my wolf, the bloodthirsty queen, fighting me for control.

SOPHIA POV The air was stiff while taking a walk with Xylah, this was because none of us wanted to be in the same company as each other.. As we walked, I heard noises and cheers going on in the distance. "What's that noise?" I asked. "They are recruiting new wolves to join the army," she replied. "You do not want to go there, the men there will be covered in their own sweat and blood," she complains. "Yuck right?" She asked but stopped talking when she noticed my interest. "Oh I forgot, you used to be a beta, those are your thing," she mumbles.

I dash around to the front of the Palace with inhuman speed, Down the gravel driveway, passing Tristan’s white leopard until I reach the fight that is taking place. I let out a realm-shattering roar when I see my kitten being held off the ground – Lord Lightfoot’s claws sinking into her delicate skin. The scent of Nightshade permeates the air and see our warriors falling. One after another. I spot Mason laid out on the floor, a gaping wound in his stomach and blood spilling from his mouth. Enraged by the sight before me, though not were-cat, the beast inside rears forward taking over. All I see is red. All I can think is kill.

"They’re going after a rogue band of ferals hiding out at the north end of the Wilds. These shifters stole Warrior property and killed human campers in the mountain." That was a generic term that the Warrior applied often and generously. It could mean any number of things. The door past the reception desk whooshed open, and the third group of soldiers walked into the overcrowded lobby. Of the four, Lily knew one of them. They’d gone on a few library trips together over the past few days with Jessa.

Which is the wrong thing to do because a sap of pain on my side, and the world tilts. I grunt as I hit the ground and kick out, satisfied with the oaff I hear. “Christ, keep your fucking head,” Ransom snarks, smashing his fist into a warrior's throat. I shift out my claws and cut at a male's Achilles tendon. With a scream, the warrior drops to the floor. Another warrior drops beside me, his empty eyes looking up at the ceiling. The remaining warrior backs up a few steps before he turns and runs. I give chase only to watch him being torn apart by a shifted wolf.

There was no shame in the role and yet here, it seemed an omega was no better than a modern day slave. Still, what did that have to do with mates? "Good is not the word I'd use." Alex was the one to answer, his serious eyes giving nothing away. "The trackers have reported back and they have found something." Johnny tapped a button on the laptop he was standing in front of and the screen hanging on the wall lit up to show a satellite image of some of the forested area that made up Blue Mountain pack territory. It wasn't a committee image because it would have been much more up to date. This image had been taken in the summertime so there was nothing but various shades of green. Lucas could ma
