The territory was dark below. The torches along the outer wall made small yellow circles on the ground. Beyond the wall the forest was invisible, just a deeper darkness where the lights ended. Somewhere in that darkness, six days from now, an alliance of five packs was going to test whether Blood Moon's borders held. Austin had said, "they do not understand what they are fighting." He was right. They thought they were fighting a forbidden bond. An administrative inconvenience. An Alpha who had let

I admit, hearing Kitty shriek, looking up to see Nikki picking her up and carrying her to the lounge near the fireplace. “Romulus and Remus,” Osric chuckles, shaking his head at our excited friends who talk to Benjamin and Ares. “I like that, but I’m pretty sure they’re girls,” I pick up both kittens to verify their genders. “Skoll and Hati, after the wolves of Ragnarök,” Jonathan suggests, peeling his eyes from Roan to look down at the sleepy kittens in my lap. I smile, looking over at our daughter to see she is smiling up at her dads who are giving her all the attention she wants.

Hiyojin empowered the warriors who let fear engulfed them. Many warriors were motivated while others are shaking on their ground. A quick second pass and the ground started to calmed. The warriors strengthen their stand. Suddenly, a tentacles pierced most of the warriors body. This attacked was a surprise one, for no one really noticed it except the three high ranked warriors. "Evade it!" Galatrina shouted through her lungs. The remaining group of warriors avoided the second attack. But it's not over. Suddenly, a hordes of arrow but much bigger rained down. Three men and two women, all with the hard eyes and scarred hands of career hunters. "Yuna Kanzaki," Andrew said formally. "Thank you for coming. Please, sit." Yuna took the offered seat, Noah and Camille flanking her. She felt every eye in the room assessing her, judging her, looking for weaknesses. "Let's begin," Andrew said. "You all know why we're here. The situation with Victor has forced us to reevaluate our policies regarding kitsunes." "There's nothing to reevaluate," one of the men said coldly. He was older, with gray hair and a scar across his face. "The law is clear. All kitsunes are to be eliminated on sight."

"Uh-huh! They let us chase them in the gardens, and Kane said he's going to teach us how to throw a punch! And Keith said he'll get us real toy swords!" My heart clenched again. I tried to smile, tried to keep my voice steady. "Toy swords?" "Yes!" Kayden said, his eyes bright with excitement. "Because we're gonna be warriors, Mommy!" I swallowed past the lump in my throat, forcing myself to nod. "Warriors, huh?" Kate beamed. "The best ones ever!" Their excitement was contagious, but beneath the warmth, there was something else curling in my chest something fragile and anxious. It was happening again Just like with King.

“Okay, that's fine. What will you pick?” “The sword, it works better for me with smaller knives just in case.” “My kitten is now a full blown warrior.” He said with a proud smile. “Yes I am. I was taught by the best. We would also pick out protective gear, the tailors would get out sizes so it can reduce the severity of injuries.” I added. “Alpha Thorton is truly going all out this year. He is doing very well but what scares me is that it might cause him some enemies.” Kael said thoughtfully.

And when we are at war both of their packs play a major role, Werecats plan the war strategy and my pack warriors and black panthers fight the war. We walk out of the pack house and see our warriors have taken down about 70% of their warriors. They will be okay,” he prods as I slowly let their little feet hit the floor.

“And I don't look forward to telling them today. There is a matter of urgency that has brought me here this early.’’ Hercules answers beckoning for his beta who comes forward.
