He couldn't let the pack, especially her family, abandon her because all she cared about was their safety. "However, because we were friends back then, I have a proposal for her," Althaia added. "And what is that?" Marcus frowned. "I can appoint her as the new trainer for our werewolf children. I thought it would be sufficient if we made them aware of the reality between us and humanity as young as possible so that when they grow up, they can be effective defenders of our race against humans." Marcus smiled as if he was mocking Althaia. Althaia's face immediately darkened as a result of what he had done.

My Dad might fancy such but I’m not my Dad. I noticed most of the Warriors were middle-aged he-wolves and she-wolves, but I also noticed some young adults, like me too. I could imagine they had started Combat classes at an early age and had done remarkably well in training for them to have been able to be Reignile Warriors at such a young age. So that basically meant every Warrior here was older than me by Combat rank. I hadn’t finished my combat classes, remember? It had been interrupted twice. Both times by the one and only Cayden.

I admit while rubbing my bump smoothing my shirt that rode up. “Congratulations on your pups, it’s not brave to do what’s right. I should have done more long ago and fought for the women of our pack, I’m stronger than most of our warriors. Alpha Lucas treats us like slaves and makes anyone who disagrees with him rogue without a second thought,” Kitty speaks with a sad nearly lost expression when I grab her hand and motioning for her to sit across from me.

There’s a brisk chill in the air as winter is drawing to a close, me and twelve other young women and men sit around the training area looking at all the fighting equipment there was an array of training mats, boxing gloves and wooden swords of all sizes. At the age of eighteen you were allowed to train to be a pack warrior and today is our first day of training for The Blue moon pack.

Eric POV. While my mate took care of the little one washing her, I went to do my calls, although we are alphas and the most dominant wolves around here, we have no clue on how to deal with a kitten, our pack never had one. We know the general things about them, but not how to deal with them, for that I decided to call a fellow wolf, Alpha Sebastian, the father of a little Neko, he raised him since the day he was born until the day he got mated and moved away, well his mate moved in really.

This was the first time she was seeing him here, in the Lord's courtroom and she was a little perplexed on seeing him. Laurier sighed seeing his friend's actions. He knew what she was asking and replied to her immediately. "He is Cathal Bringe. He is the newest addition in the courtroom and he is the only one to have passed the Council exam with a Level Five score." As soon as Laurier uttered the words, Raelynn's gaze snapped to him and she widened her eyes not in shock but in wonder. The Council exam was the exam meant for the people who wanted to enter the Lord's ministry. It was the toughest exam anybody could take and there were no restrictions on it. I'm not even sure how to describe him. “Where to start, oh gosh. His name was Adam, and he was the definition of tall, dark, and sexy.” I say giving Audrey big eyes, and fanning my face dramatically. “He was very forward, not shy about telling me what he was thinking or what he wanted.” “Oh, I bet not,” she says wiggling her brows and giggling. “I wish you got pictures of these boys, Kat, so we could compare both your options.” I roll my eyes, drinking down the rest of my coffee.

Vee dropped one of her swords. Killian couldn’t wait any longer. He let go of the rope and launched himself towards the ground. As he fell, he shifted, the power rippled up his spine. He landed hard on all four and took off at a sprint just as Vee fell to her knees. The Werecat landed a hard blow to Vee’s head and she collapsed. The cat had its jaws just inches from Vee’s throat when Killian tackled the beast and they went rolling sideways. They were maw to maw as the warriors started raining down above them. The Shifters started to fall back as the warriors began cutting them down in huge swatches.

Maybe an Alpha from a traveling pack. “You look thirsty”, I purred, leaning over the table so the lace of my bodice did the talking. He looked up and his eyes were a piercing, icy, blue unusual for our kind. Most wolves had Amber or gold. These eyes were cold enough to freeze my blood, but the way he trailed them down my body was scorching hot. “I am”, he said, his voice in a low gravelly rumble. “But not for what’s in the glass.” “Good” I whispered, sliding into the booth beside him. I didn’t wait. “Because the bar was closing its tab but I’m just getting started”

“I can’t…” “We are the last line of defense Wolf Creek has, Blood Moon has our children, pregnant, young, and elderly safe. Blood Moon warriors are waiting to aid us, we are here to fight for our Alpha who has done nothing but fight and provide for us,” Kitty interrupts me, making me blush and nod my head glad that they already have a plan.
