ALARIC'S POV The battlefield had become a blur of motion and chaos. The scent of blood, sweat, and fear clung to the air, mixing with the sharp tang of adrenaline. Warriors fought in wolf form, their bodies flashing in the dim light, their howls and growls reverberating through the chaos. The air was thick with tension, the earth shaking beneath the ferocity of their battle. Alaric’s heart pounded as he moved through the battlefield, each step purposeful and calculated. His silver fur gleamed, an unspoken symbol of his power and dominance as the Eclipse Wolf. His eyes, sharp and focused, scanned the horizon, knowing the final showdown was approaching.

I didn’t want to have to deal with a wild animal if things got rough. Kat was a werecat. I didn’t think she was like Troi, a Kunisada, but rather a panther after she shifted. Most patrol warriors are lion or wolf shifters, as strength, speed, and stamina are needed to take on a breach from the Shadow clan. They are relentless as the only clan who doesn't want peace and cooperation.

But even that isn’t enough. The cats lose all composure, running utterly wild, a storm of fur and teeth.

They stood back to back, waiting for an attack from the unknown darkness. "A dozen, from all sides," Alex whispered. From the shadows emerged glittering cat eyes from all around. The painted warriors came away from the shadows as one. They were human-like with large ears and sharp oval eyes. They stood barely chest-high and took stealthy steps forward with spears and bows at the ready. The firelight caught the zigzags of white paint from their bodies and light metal armor, making the creatures seem rather formidable.

Allistar POV Today is my 18th birthday and i cannot explain how excited I am to find my mate, i've been waiting for her since I first found about about mates, which was when I was 10 years old.
