"Let's get started then" saying that he opens my wardrobe and come face to face with his own photographs, some smiling, some fighting, and one in the suit which he wore for Alpha ceremony, that I have pasted on inside of the wardrobe door. "Ohhh!" He exclaimed. I shut my eyes tight, biting my lips. "I..I want to be a Warrior like you someday" I told him looking away pretending to collect my things.

A subtle knock was on my door and when the door opened, Dante appeared with his new beta, of which he was told to wait outside. "Good morning your majesty," he greeted me as I nodded. "So Dante, you said you wanted to see me," I asked, going straight to the point. "Yes sir, there was another attack and they left a letter,"'he replied, handing me a rough sheet with blood stained. "They want to break their allegiance sir, which means another war will break out," Dante informed. I can't have another war, I haven't even settled the Kai issue, it makes trusting Kai with my kingdom really hard.

It says The Alpha King in the picture because I'm currently trying to get the book title switched to that! For anyone confused about why there are two different names. Happy New Year!!

Grand, with a vaulted ceiling arched high, painted with constellations and mythic beasts, towering shelves rising like walls, carved from dark oak and lined with books. “Here.” He pulls out an old book, its cover black and edged in gold. At the center gleams a golden wolf’s head, bared teeth frozen in a snarl. Behind it, a raven spreads its wings wide, poised as if descending from the sky. Grimm opens it. The pages are an old, yellowish color, but intact. “Most of the Raven Wolf King books here are written to sound like fantasy, as if he were just a fairy tale. This one’s the one you want. Depicts date‑to‑date events.”

I also prayed earnestly that he didn’t forget me here. I spotted a bookshelf at the far end of the room and decided to look through it in hopes of finding something to read. The majority of the books were about werewolves and the pack’s history. There were also books about politics, war, and governance. I would have loved to pick up the book that contained information on all members of the Crescent Moon Pack, but I decided against it. It would seem like snooping. I finally settled on a book titled ‘The Art of War.’ Not that I was a fan of violence but I was curious to know why the author had referred to war as an art. It was such a controversial claim.

Wheezing, I took the book from her and she forced me to lie down on the bed with her as she cuddled with a pillow, placing the full portion under her chin and against her chest. I looked at the title. ‘The Good Wolf-Beast.’ The cover had a blue moon lit in the backdrop of a blue starry night. The stars had smiley faces and there was a vicious-looking werewolf kind of thing with sharp claws, a drooling crocodile-ish mouth, with thin red eyes and it seemed to be howling to the moon itself. One of the stars was in its hand, with a sad face and unlike the others stars, the wolf was squeezing it uncomfortable. I checked the blurb on the back cover to be sure it wasn’t a horror book. he asked, pointing to the book. "Of course..." Vinnie said, handing him the brochure. Thane scanned the cover, his eyes narrowing as he looked closely at it. The cover depicted a drawing of a werewolf, a vampire, and witch, in a savage position, poised to attack a helpless human sprawled at their feet. A red danger sign was crossed over the three supernatural creatures, with the caption "The Imminent Threat of Non-Human Entities - A fight for the preservation of Mankind" written boldly on top of it.

"Let's see what was worth hiding." He pulled the first book over. It was a ledger of some sort, boring and financial. He set it aside. He reached for the second book. It was smaller, bound in cracked red leather. There was no title on the spine, but the cover... Jael went still. "Amalia," he said softly. "Look at this." Amalia leaned in, swallowing a bite of her sandwich. Burned into the leather cover was a drawing. It was stylized, ancient, but the subject was unmistakable. A wolf. A wolf with fur depicted by jagged, flame-like strokes.
