He held out his hands for their inspection. Tryna slid off the table, took his fingers in her tiny hands, and inspected them as if she were a doctor. "You really should have had Kree treat these burns when they first occurred. That is part of the reason cosheys bond with Warriors, remember? Their healing powers help keep you alive."

"Thank you for the prayers, sweetheart. I have to speak with my warriors now, stay safe." The mind link was close and as I looked around me, the number of warriors made me confident of our win but I couldn't help but fear the wolves who were going out first. Beta Osuof and the warriors that are with him I know that most of them will begin to fight for their life as soon as they enter the territory of the West. I listened to the wind after an hour, the signal of their fight will be sent to me through the mind link. It's still quiet but I know that even the warriors that are with me have been feeling anxious about the war.

LAUREN'S POV The message that I had just received from one of our warriors on duty left me in a state of disbelief. "I've just received a mind link from one of our warriors on duty," he said. "Luna we've captured a group of wolves trying to break into our pack territory." As soon as the warrior passed me the message through the mind link, I knew I had to act fast. The safety of our pack and the other packs under the wings of the snow moon pack was my top priority, and I couldn't let any outsider threaten it.

As we drive away, I look at my family getting smaller and smaller though the window. When they are no longer in sight I turn around and pull out my laptop and start working. It is going to be a long drive to get to the Council headquarters. After about an hour drive one of the warriors tells me that they are having some interference with the other car of warriors. It’s quite strange, so I try and reach out via mind link. Nothing! I try their cell phones and nothing again. “Beep the horn and then pull over. We need to regroup, something is off.” I tell the driver.

Melinda Vikron felt it instantly. He staggered back, eyes wide, as the sound of Camille’s voice shot through the bond. “Camille!” His voice blasted through the mind-link; raw, fierce, panicked. Warriors around him jolted at the sheer force of it. Vikron launched forward toward the dome, the earth opened beneath his feet as he ran. Dozens of pack warriors fell into formation behind him. “Stand back with the others and fight!” he commanded Demuel through the mind-link.

Thankfully, I had my werewolf eyes that allowed me to look through the dense forest. I tried to establish a mind link with my beta and gamma and they answered almost immediately. “Are you guys okay?” My warriors replied in affirmation and I spoke, “Keep going ahead and keep in touch, okay?” “Yes alpha, you too” They replied and then I called Garron. The phone rang and he answered in the first ring. “I think we should mind link as long as we can. The phone’s ring might as well startle the other beasts of the forest or even alert the kidnapper if he would be around.”

Jason also emerged through the crowd of warriors, who were now settling back into their guarding positions. “Guys,” I mind-linked my commanding officers. “Round up at the IT hub in an hour.” -

I got into one of the warrior's minds and tried to see what he was seeing. As soon as the warrior went down the landing, I was in as well. "We can talk freely now. Earlier, we didn't know if there was someone from the pack that could hear us so we had to talk through our link. now that we're down here, I'm sure that no one will be able to hear us." beta Edward said. "Beta, are we making that substance here?" I asked using the warrior. "Yes. Lately we have some miscalculations but we are pretty sure that we have completed it." Beta Edward replied and the two warriors looked at each other.

And somehow I agreed with her. Love was bullshit. “So, what did you find out?” I asked. Ruby shifted on her chair and folded her arms. “The tattoo you showed me was a pack sigil alright,” she said. “It belongs to a pack named Mystic Warriors.” “That I know. What else?” “Well, this is one of the most ancient packs to have ever existed. And when I say ancient, I mean ancient. It’s said that of all the packs that the Moon Goddess created, Mystic Warriors was one of them. This pack is a warrior pack and the first ever Alpha was named Achilleus. He was the greatest warrior to have existed in our entire history. All members, true blood of the Mystic Warriors pack were born with incredible strength

Gosh, I need to get my head straight around this game. Less than a minute later, I arrived at the pack square with my sister and the sight I am met with is nothing that should warrant such a distress call. “What is going on here?” I ask the one who just mind-linked me. He is a warrior. One of the high-ranking ones which is why he has easy access to the personal link with me. It would be unsafe for him to use the general pack link. His face says it all. He looks distressed. But still, it doesn’t change the fact that I see nothing around here that would make him link me like that.
