I wordlessly climbed onto the bed and looked at her laptop screen. She was on Wattpad, typing away at one of the stories she was busy writing. I frowned. She only ever updated so late at night when she was extremely bothered or extremely sad. Writing was her escape from reality: almost like how reading was mine.
