I had been stressing all morning, driving myself insane trying to figure out what would motivate the bears to strike out again after we had so thoroughly defeated them the last time. I had thought the stray bears that we had encountered in the South, courtesy of Zeke, was some sort of fluke, that maybe he had blackmailed or lied his way into fooling the two goons to do his dirty work. They had certainly lacked a high intelligence rate, that was for damn sure.

Two hours later , they catch three more bears , fifteen deers , eight mountain goats , twenty geese and pheasants . They divided the prey among them . Moo Shang had told them , they won't go to the mountain anymore because it's will be snowy in few days . So everyone eager to get the prey . " Let's go back now . It's already four thirty ." Moo Shang said to the others . Everyone already had many prey in their space including the three guards.

I swear I must have been an anthropologist in a past life because I love learning about the culture of other species. Alpha Keenai and Alpha Zozi continued to share details about bear culture with me as everyone ate their lunch. We decided to wait until everyone finished eating before talking business. This is why I always kept my people away from you mongrels.” “Get us in and we will be more than glad to leave.” Burican dryly said. “You go in through there; you can get out the same way or out the front door.” Bear said pointing to an opening. “You’re supposed to get us in and out.” Max growled. “Wrong. I said I would get you in.” Bear chuckled. “I never said anything about getting you out.” Bear said and then disappeared. “Fuck! Where did he go?! Come back here you stupid bear!” Max yelled.

"It must be raccoons checking out the old trash. Nothing to worry about." Nathan gulps audibly, whispering back. "Bears like to look through trashcans as well..." "Are you serious right now?" I fight the urge to laugh. "You aren't afraid of ghosts, but bears?" "Because ghosts don't exist, but bears do!" "Huh..." I push myself off the floor and slide out of my sleeping bag. Nathan is staring up at me. "Wait, where are you going?" His eyes are enormous. "You're not going out there to check it out, right? That would be insane!"

Olivia POV: I was shaking with cold as I crawled into an empty cave, although it blocked out the elements, it did nothing for the wet ice that clung to my skin. I wasn't prepared for this, but I don't think I was ever supposed to be. I huddled into myself, pressing my knees to my chest and trying to keep the sound of my chattering teeth to a minimum in case there were other bears in the vicinity. Bears were our enemy, they were not civilised like us wolves or even like the vampires. They were complete savage monsters.
