Alexander explained. "Sure!" Cimarron did not even think about it and agreed easily. "That was quick. Aren't you afraid I'd force you to do something bad?" Alexander teased. "I trust you won't do so." Cimarron trusted Alexander completely. Alexander smiled warmly and said nothing more. He intended to speak of his next plan after he had taken down the Wagerway. A loud bang filled the night sky from thousands of miles away. It seemed to have been produced by a deadly weapon called a Barrett. It was a heavy sniper that even a Lord of the War Realm could not resist. Alexander was familiar with thermal weapons and could recognize them from the sound.

Which really frustrated all of us as none of us were able to understand what was exactly going on there because they were shirtless and but still none of the weapons were working on them and out of frustration I ended up snatching the weapon of one of them and soon started shooting them with the same weapon because of which they started turning into ashes as they started combusting on the spot which was also amazing

Brody breathes out as he fights with my body. "Is it something worse than the usual?" Xavier asks Brody, and I hear him checking the Glock in his hand to make sure it is loaded. "This is not a battle with werewolves. There's no one to shoot, you blood-thirsty fuck," Brody spits out. "My bullets can kill more than werewolves, you unwoke species," Xavier snaps right back at him. "Shit," Brody growls then wraps his arms around my thrashing torso.

He believed that able bodied werewolves like these men should be able to fight with their fist and not weapons. Back in Blue moon, he made sure that the armory was locked except for times of emergency and he made sure to sanction whoever used weapons when it was time to battle. "This doesn't make sense," Alex suddenly said as the men equipped themselves with weapons. "What doesn't make sense, huh? Footman." Damien said in a mocking tone. The other men chuckled in amusement. Alex ignored the jibe and spoke. "It doesn't make sense that we would equip ourselves with weapons. It's just one person who fired the arrow and we are preparing like we're going to fight an army of demons."

Eric said coolly, his tone sharp enough to cut glass. Rex’s eyes darted to Damien, who was calmly examining a sleek, custom-made gun. A shiver ran down his spine. He recognized the weapon—a modified Smith & Wesson, known for its devastating effects. The bullets it fired didn’t just kill, they tortured, leaving behind excruciatingly slow, acid-induced agony. It was an acid that burned through everything until the pearly white bone was exposed. That pain alone would have people begging for death over mercy. Mr. Damien, I-I’m not sure of the purpose of your visit. V-velvet vipers hasn’t interfered with the Cross’s business—”

All sorts of types of energy in the form of swords and daggers were conjured in succession before being launched at Kayson. These energy weapons cut Kayson’s clothes, and there were also faint wounds on his body. Kayson raised an eyebrow and said in astonishment, “The Weapon Charmboard is rather powerful…” The energy weapons unleashed from the Weapon Charmboard were powerful enough to kill a peak-level grandmaster. “What… What sort of freak are you…” Hawk appeared to be scared out of his wits. Such powerful energy weapons had actually managed to cut a shallow wound with a small amount of blood seeping through on Kayson!?

Alex and Lucca rushed forward, as did Khalid, and in less than two minutes all the enemies had been overpowered, some dead, but many were alive and would be interrogated. This pistol was something I had ordered from Khalid, because it was special, the bullets were made to kill werewolves, because they contained silver, wolfsbane and some other poisons. So even if I missed a vital area, my enemy would be weakened enough for me to aim again. Khalid approached and offered me a handkerchief and I wiped enough off my face, then turned to the cameras.

*Allie-Jean’s POV* I had no experience in combat. I had never fought in my wolf form or even in my human form. All of the other girls had been trained since they were younger, instead of schooling as my home pack had done. We believed that we were safe. We were relatively peaceful, so our men being trained would be enough. Now, we weren’t guaranteed our safety and I worried for my home pack, who hadn’t ever really taken combat training seriously.
