Waiters moved silently with trays of drinks. Laughter and chatter filled the halls.

She then looked at the confused Maya, “Every year, a Masquerade takes place in London, hosting the top elites of the world, famous public figures attend, famous CEOs, even someone from the royal family would come. They drove straight to a Paris themed resort named Opera games resort, it was a tall tower that stood beautifully amongst the many other hotels and resorts around it. AUTHOR'S POV The day came. The day when William Adams was going to officially engage Ana to Jackson. Willaim Adams didn't even waste one day and held the party just one day after breaking the news to Ana. It was a masquerade ball and thankfully Ana was going to wear a mask. This party was not held because of some trend. This party was themed to be a Masquerade Ball to keep the identities of people attending the party hidden. It was necessary, as many underworld Mafias were going to attend the party today. A special secret code card was required to come inside the mansion. The security was also on high alert, as William Adams suspected that Beast will come today.

* He said to himself as he sat on one of the vacant stools in front of the counter and requested his drink. "Thank you." He said as he grapped the glass and placed his lips on it. He turned to the back to look at the people who were in the bar and it was then that he realised that they were dressed masquerade theme. Everyone including the waiters and waitresses had masquerade masks on. *Wtf!* He swore as he looked around. Then he remembered why the front was so colorful before he came in. God only knows what they were on about. But then his memory flashed the words in front of him.

The lady nodded, noticing something. It was strange, like their owner, she had a mask on. In fact, all the maids lined up to greet them had masks on their faces.
