The girls in the pack thought I was a threat, they hadn't even met Scarlette. "Did I not tell you about werefoxes?" I shook my head frantically. Scarlette was the only means of information about the outside world I had, other than my books. I pulled her to sit down, ready for the long story of how she met werefoxes. "Well, I've met them once. And one time, when I went to Asia, I met a nine-tailed fox," she whispered. I gasped again, my eyes flying wide. Those are real? "Yes, I was surprised too. Anyway, I quit my job when they decided to hunt innocent werefoxes, but they still went on with the plan. My mother ended up reporting to the higher-ups but turns out they were aware. Then the foxes

Her body was running out of strength and she could hold herself anymore. While she tried to grasp another branch, it broke and she fell down with it. The foxes looked at each other then started moving towards her with their mouths wide open. Gabby knew that she was done for. She could see strange rays of light coming from the foxes eyes. She closed her eyes as she lifted her hands and to her surprise she heard a loud bang . When she opened her eyes she saw almost three foxes lying on the ground. She was stunned and afraid at the same time.

She saw a humongous fox with nine tails fighting a bunch of half-human and half cow. "Minotaur?" She murmured. She furrowed her eyebrows when she saw the nine-tailed fox was not giving its best to fight. It seemed that it was protecting something from the minotaur. She also noticed that the nine-tailed fox had a big would on the side. She felt pity for the nine-tailed fox but she still needs to eradicate it because maybe it will impose a threat to humanity. So she decided to eradicate both of them but she stopped when she saw a tiny pup behind the nine-tailed fox. Then she understood that the nine-tailed fox was a mother and it was just protecting its pup.

Stanley and Yaksha couldn’t help but squint. They followed the light and saw a white fox tail on the ground not far away from them. It was covered in blood and looked like it had just fallen off. Yaksha seemed even more shocked as he quickly took a few steps back. “That must be the demon fox’s tail. Nine-tailed foxes have nine lives. Each time they die, they’d lose a single tail. It means that it had already died once.” With that, Yaksha looked at Stanley in excitement. “This means that somebody saved the children! No, to be more accurate, it might be another demon or a god.

Oceana said in fear as she saw a nine tailed fox walking towards her with an angry face. She picked up a stick from the ground and tried using it, but the fox wasn't backing out. Oceana stepped backwards on ever step the fox made, and she didn't know when she stumbled on a stone and fell. The nine tailed fox wasn't backing down as it moved closer and closer to her. Oceana crawled backwards, and then she fell into a hole.

My tail wagged as Eleanor took her first steps through the trees. Wait… I had a tail now! I wanted to look at it, so I urged my wolf to allow me to look at my tail. She did. I gaped at the fluffy white tail protruding from my behind. “Look, Elelanor! We have a white tail!” I exclaimed in excitement. I hadn’t seen a wolf with a white tail. Most of the wolves in our region were grey with a black-tipped tail, while alphas were usually black and huge. But a wolf with a fluffy white tail like mine was unheard of.

So they needed to revert to their default settings. “Restore” “Restore” Mane quickly retreated feeling the vast energy of the two beings before him. Before their auras were strong, but now they were almost twice as powerful! The first to complete her transformation was the White Fox. Mane had to admit that it was a very beautiful creature. With fur as white as snow and eyes that were as beautiful as lapis lazuli, even Mane was entranced by the creature. The representative men were already transforming into their wolf forms. I recognized a Tartarus wolf the moment I saw one. We usually had the darkest shades of black, and there was always a T-shaped mark at the back of our heads symbolizing the Tartarus Pack. Four... three... two... one... go! The Silver Fox was released and, like a flash of lightning, it sped into the forest arena. The wolves chased after it, and it wasn't surprising that Malakai was leading while a grey wolf sprinted behind him, trying to catch up.

Maggie grunted, stepped forward and grabbed her by her long red mane. “AHH!” Valeen yelled as she swung her fists in the air. “Let go!” Maggie swung her around by her red mane with both hands tightly secured to her scalp. “I couldn’t find the toilet brush, but I guess this messy bush will do.” “Oh, God! You wouldn’t dare!”

Perhaps they didn’t have my size. The fluffy towel was a nice surprise, as was the fur coat. Sable sprung to mind, though I had no way of knowing if that were the case. I chose not to pity the poor creatures who had died so this luxurious body warmer could be made; I am a werewolf, after all. And the hunting habits of other countries didn’t worry me overmuch. Even so I checked it for eyes, snout and a bushy tail before I reminded myself that was probably fox.
