The moon was full that night — when blood from the once allied packs spilled the ground. Men and women killed for the sake of following their Alpha's commands. The Blood Moon Pack’s territory was painted the darkest shade of red. A sea of corpses scattered everywhere — including the bodies of the werewolves from both packs, as well as the decapitated limbs of vampires who fought alongside the Dark Crescent Pack. The Beta Female wailed at the bright moon, her somber heart beating erratically.

He had always despised the way this sly fox dragged things out for dramatic effect. “Egor’s sister is an Original she-wolf. Last year, her own father was selling her blood.” “And what’s so special about her blood? Does that make Egor the same?” “No. Egor has a different mother. Now, as for what makes it special—you’re about to be shocked. The blood of an Original heals any wound, any illness. Humans. Werewolves. It doesn’t matter.” Arthur snorted as he jerked the wheel around a sharp turn. “That’s hardly shocking. All werewolves regenerate quickly.”

Selene said there were unclean spirits and there were more than two. I only know of Troy and Christabell. If something is here, I would find it and I would end it before it ends me. I stood there for about an hour and waited for all the werewolves to go. When they were all gone, it was my turn to take the blood. I dipped my finger in the swirling blood. It crawled its way up my finger. I have never seen anything like it. It was spreading to my palm like a disease. I quickly took my hand away and sucked on the blood in my hand.

I'd never done this before, never even heard of anyone doing this, but I remembered something my father told me once about the old ways. Werewolf blood accelerates vampire healing. I dropped to my knees beside Lucien and pressed my bleeding wrist to his lips. "Drink," I commanded. Lucien's eyes opened wider, confusion mixing with the pain. He tried to turn his head away. "Drink, you stubborn bastard!" I grabbed his jaw and forced my wrist against his mouth. "Werewolf blood will buy us time. It won't save you alone, but it'll keep you alive long enough for Maya to get her power under control."

And yet, somehow, I was given the hardest task of all. Picking up the tray, which was heavier than all the rest since it was full of pitcher of heavy blood, I made for the door. The Pack clinic always kept a well-stocked blood bank, both in case a wolf needed a transfusion and for whenever important Vampires come calling. Since Werewolves heal so quickly, it doesn't take much to restock it with donations. I helped Rosie a few times doing blood drives during the long years of the war.

What's going on? Every werewolf I have come across in all years of living has red blood, I have never seen a wolf that has blue blood before. I thought my blood had always been red, like every normal wolf. How is it possible for it to suddenly change? A few hours ago, I got a little scratch from those bastards from hellhounds' pack, and I could swear my blood was red. So, what the heck is going on right now? "Dad…. Why… Why is my blood blue?” I stammered, looking up from my hand to him.

Wilson hissed with something akin to irritation. “The blood he uses in production. He’s using werewolf blood. The elixir wouldn’t be so rare if everyone could just use their werewolf blood to make the elixir,” My eyes widened and from beside me, I felt the surprise and waves of shock rolling off Lily too. “Whose blood then? Whose blood is sufficient enough to make the elixir?” Lily asked him. “Don’t bother. You can’t get it,” Wilson chucked. “Just tell us! WHOSE BLOOD?” I hissed in anger and irritation.

"I’m going to mix your shots, and you two are going to be having the Blue Blood shots!" I frowned. "What’s a Blue Blood shot?" Sophie laughed. "A Blue Blood shot is a werewolf’s biggest weakness when it comes to alcohol. Werewolf systems are different from humans! We don’t get drunk easily by consuming regular human alcohol." She smirked. "But we do have our own alcohol called the Blue Blood shot. If humans drink it, they’d probably die from alcohol poisoning after just one shot! That’s why this club is called the Blue Bloods. The shots are only given to werewolves, but humans don’t even know about it."

Beside her were the corpses of the Elena family and Jhon. "Killing the Elena family leaves four more families. This is too slow. I could have wiped out your whole clan with a snap of my fingers. I'm losing patience," Laura said, looking at Ned's unusually thick hair and couldn't help but gently press it against his scalp. "You werewolves love to feast on flesh and blood, don't you? There's so much here. How could you ever finish it all?" Ned looked down at the pile of corpses with contempt and grabbed Laura by the chin. "We only feast on the flesh and blood of the purest bodies. We wouldn't touch this filth."

BECCA. “Oh my goddess!” Mom screamed; her hands on her mouth before looking at me. “I am not…” I raised my brows expecting her to affirm it but then she didn’t. “Werewolves' blood are darker shades of red, as a hunter, you have normal blood meaning you have human genes as well. Now the third blood has clouds in them... You know what cloudy blood means right?” Mom asked me and I nodded. I saw the blood first and showed it to her, of course I know what this means.
