In the process, my arm lightly grazed her chest, something that she managed to completely ignore. "Seriously? Do you think I have a hidden jail that I bring bad supernaturals to or something? That I'm going to keep them locked up forever? You guys are werewolves, you know how the paranormal world works." They are just waiting for the right time to attack us, just to bring us down so I understand him. “All right, fine,” I surrendered, which made him laugh heartily. I don’t even know now if he just loves having debates with me when it comes to this kind of situation to make me shut up and follow what he said, or if he’s just trying to make me realize that I’m wrong. Still, he’s enjoying it whenever I surrender. .... “Your Highness Celeste, I apologize for interrupting your rest, but a werewolf named Sebastian Lyall Volkov visited you and he’s now in the living room. He informed me that you are his mate, and he’s—” My eyes widened and immediately sat on my bed.

Algernon cautioned, and she responded with a solemn nod, fully attentive. "Thousands of years ago, Lycans were known as werewolves. They could only shift into their wolf form under the full moon. However, Lycaon, the great and mighty Lycan King, became the first werewolf to shift into his wolf form under the sun, without needing a full moon. This granted him greater power, strength, and agility than any other werewolf. He used this newfound power to lead his kind to victory and free them from enslavement during the Full Moon Liberation.

Maxion said, facepalming his self. “I'll have to agree with you there.” I replied. “A good number of these slaves were people we captured from opposing werewolf packs or people who committed heinous crimes so they should be happy I didn't kill them.” “Exactly what we were saying earlier.” Chief Dara said. “Give them a little and watch them work all over you.” I nodded in agreement while watching their supposed leader talking to some people beside him. “Who is that man?” I asked. “Um…I really do not know?” Chief Dara replied.

A blood-curdling battle cry echoed through the forest, and the ground shook beneath our feet as the fight exploded. I unsheathed my sword in one swift motion, the cold steel gleaming in the first rays of dawn. My wolf surged beneath my skin, eager for the blood that would soon flow. Beside me, the pack shifted—fur, claws, and fangs replacing flesh and bone. The Lupinarians shifted also, their silver furs gleaming. Ravenna was still human, but her rage was a wild thing, burning hotter than anything the wolves could conjure.
