It’s all about strict business and nothing else. The ancient history of the supernaturals has witnessed a never-ending animosity between wolves and vampires. They are born competitors, hungry for each other’s blood. Powerful, ruthless, cunning, and selfish, a tug-of-war situation over supremacy persists. From the rise of time, wolves and vampires are always against each other. They very nearly, dearly, and seriously cannot tolerate each other’s sight. However, being the superpower, they often have to share platforms and make appearances on occasions such as weddings.

The number of werewolves were speedily decreasing, leaving only Alpha Sebastian; Alpha of the largest and strongest pack, and a few other strong wolves to fight. Since the vampires outnumbered the werewolves in the village, it was hard to determine which party would win. It was full moon so the werewolves' strength will be at it's peak but at the same time, the vampires had an upper hand since the forest was full of wolfsbane; a deadly plant that can even take the life of a werewolf. At one far end, the Luna of the pack, having white fur and looking like the Luna she is, was already losing strength from fighting.

“How strong do you think Balthazar is?” “He isn't a weak enemy, is what I'm going to say. Probably the strongest we werewolves have ever encountered. Why do you ask?” “Are werewolves on good terms with vampires?” I asked instead. “Werewolves have hardly been on good terms with Vampires. Instead, I should be saying it is actually the Vampires who have never really been on good terms with any of the supernatural species,” Christian stated. “And how many supernatural species are there?”

The Alpha ordered that we should try our best to avoid them while in our wolf form so as not to let them find out too much. And then there are the vampires. Vampires also trespass on werewolf hunting grounds. Many times, a werewolf and a vampire would clash with each other in a crucial fight. As the luna, i am expected to take part in finding solutions to all these problems.

Some humans have a psychic scent ability, being able to smell certain aspects of emotions in others, even smelling insanity in another. Werewolves consider Vampires to be self-serving feeding machines . . . and they are. Vampires tend to wrap themselves in cunning and subtlety, compared to the lycanthrope facing and solving problems by directness, savouring brute force, the use of berserker rage in carnage and destruction or the eerie elimination of prey or foe by simply having them disappear and be seen no more. Werewolves One werewolf may rove the world, searching for that valley, mountain, or village, perhaps even city where they can have mistress moon over shoulder while they hunt.

Cass stood in her way and tried to fight her off but she bit him and flung him aside. "You bastard child, despite everything I have done for you? You dare think I'm crazy?" Mason and I, took on the left wing of the mansion, and luckily we were fortunate enough that no one spotted us while peeping in different rooms. "We are truly going to be doomed once they find us in here," I whispered under my breath not wanting for anyone to hear me. Although us werewolves are vicious by nature, the vampires are also tricky and they are pretty fast compared to us who have to rely on our wolf forms. They have more advantages compared to us. For example, they can go a few days without eating anything. Us werewolves have to each so much food so that we could go stronger and fight when the time came.

Rene and I both say in unison, that we already know our history, no need to bring that up again. "Okay." He says looking at a paper. I bet vampires had a problem with werewolves because werewolves keep trying to stop them from killing innocent people. "Both creatures have always been a threat to the human race." He says. Oh "Vampires are stronger than werewolves but a werewolves bite can kill a vampire, a powerful vampire, John King had a son and he was killed by a werewolf, and get this, that werewolf was his son's best friend, and it gets crazier, it was an accident."

I sketched in a wolf in front of it, its mouth open as it howled up at the moon. I didn’t know much about werewolves; I’d never encountered one in my short time as a vampire. But I did know one thing. Werewolves were the natural enemies of vampires. I’d have to tell the Clan about this. Perhaps Kathrena and I would have to change schools, only two days into the year. Or, I thought, perhaps I could do some investigating first. After all, some people would assume that all vampires were a threat, though to make such a generalisation would omit the Daywind Vampyres.
