The Alpha’s Pretty Mistake

The Alpha’s Pretty Mistake

The mark of the Shadowborn. I dismounted when I reached the old trade road. The place was too quiet. Even the birds had fled. There was a smoldering fire in sight a few hundred feet ahead. The camp was small, but newly deserted, and damp enough yet that the rain had not yet put it out completely. I cowered at the fire spot and raked the ashes. Fresh. Less than an hour old. The estate was being watched over by someone. Within one of the tent, I found a map. My stomach turned when I recognized it, the Lannister estate, drawn with precise detail. Patrol routes. Guard rotations. Escape tunnels Kol had sealed years ago.

Sold to the Ruthless Lycan king (The Lycan's flame).

Sold to the Ruthless Lycan king (The Lycan's flame).

It’s the map of the four Kingdoms and every time he’s asked me to look at it and tell me where I feel I would hide something that really mattered to me. It begs the question, why would I hide something that matters to me on a map? But Lyros says I'm getting it all wrong. It’s not the map I should be focused on, it’s what’s on the map. “Each time I look at it, it just looks like scrawlings and landmarks. I can see the forests, the fortresses, the wolf packs littered around and the werewolf settlements, the mountains, the seas, the capitals of some kingdoms, and the woods that surround their borders, it’s all on paper and it all looks the same to me.

THE GIRL IN THE MANUSCRIPT

THE GIRL IN THE MANUSCRIPT

But here it is, all laid out in black ink on yellowed paper, real as the stone under her feet, detailed enough to make her feel like she was never writing a story at all — just taking dictation from a world that already existed. She pulls one of the rolled maps from the shelf and unrolls it on the table. It shows the entire continent, with names she never invented — the Scarred Lands to the north, the Salt Plains to the east, the Glass Mountains to the west. Roads wind through territories she left blank, rivers carve paths she never imagined, cities bear names that feel both familiar and alien. In the corner, a small symbol is drawn in red ink — a crow holding a key in its beak, the same mar

Marked By The Four

Marked By The Four

Evelynn POV Three hours later, Ironfang was no longer a packhouse. It was a war table. Maps covered the long oak surface. Old ones pulled from Mireya’s locked chest, new ones marked with black and red ink. Thornborne lands sprawled across the center like a living thing: forests, rivers, the burned pack grounds, the old borders etched with symbols only witches and seers remembered how to read. I stood at the head of the table. Because this wasn’t a discussion about if we were returning.

Alpha Atlas

Alpha Atlas

Every guard in the tent tensed as I barreled through, hands tearing midnight swords from their hilts. The High Lord of the Night Court’s head lifted, shimmering black hair falling over his shoulders from the abrupt movement. His eyes were bright and full of life, even though they were the same shade as his pupil. His hands were splayed out on either side of him, flat down on the top of a large table. A map jutted from the table like one of those realistic models I had to make in elementary school. This was no mediocre science geography project, but a map imbued with magic. Mountains jutted from the top like jagged thorns, surrounding glittering lakes and dense forests. Entire cities and town

Miss Nessie
Not a bad book, a few errors and gramma issues, needs to be edited. I would love to see a second book, but that probably won’t happen. The friends characters were a huge part to this book and I would love to see some short stories from their pov, there could be some really good story lines.

Each time I read your book, I say that's my favorite of all your books but this...this is very intriguing. I can't put it down honestly, now I say—I'm gonna read all of your books. It's you and I because your writing style is way more than I've ever seen anyone use before.

The Returned Luna

The Returned Luna

The name nudged some piece of knowledge from her past life, but she didn’t think much more about it. It was nearing dinner time when she found Eden again. Eden looked up from his place by the fire, sharpening his sword. An older man sat beside him, chatting about defensive measures. There was a map between them, crisply drawn and detailing more than just the vampire nation or the werewolf kingdom. There was a five-pointed star over the land to the west of the vampire kingdom that bordered another section of unclaimed territory which was separated by a great canyon from the werewolf kingdom.

REJECTED, NOW DESIRED

REJECTED, NOW DESIRED

There was a map on a table, beside Amos and Ansel gazed at it curiosl6. Amos looked up as they entered, his expression serious. "Romano brought this from the witches' residence," he said, pointing to the map. "It details their defences and all their lands." Ansel studied the map, impressed. "Good work, Romano. This will give us a crucial advantage." The man beside Amos bowed in appreciation. Edna nodded her respect to Ansel's words. "This is exactly what we needed." They all turned to the map, ready to study it and plan for their attack.

He walked inside of his tent and over to the makeshift desk where he'd been conducting his business. The map spread out in front of him was crude at best, but it was easy to tell what he was looking at. It was a drawing of our area, and it showed the lands he was currently holding in relation to the area where Rosalie's pack had control. He had a few rocks spread around the map as well, and I took it that those were meant to represent the rogue packs and other hidden enemies like James and Kal. "What do you want now, Georgia?" he asked me, not looking up from his so-called map.

I adore this series. I had the privilege to read it a couple years ago on a different platform. It’s incredibly detailed with mostly likeable characters. Plus you get to follow the journey as they grow and develop over several stories. It’s well worth the time invested!

The order of the book is a little confusing, started out with a story about Ethan and Rosalie and mid way through it's like the story has jumped back to were the beginning should be. I love the story but this kinda has me scratching my head .

Her thirst for vengeance

Her thirst for vengeance

“The map.” I frowned as I moved closer. “What about it?” He spread it out for me to see. “We’ve searched almost everywhere. Every territory, every hidden path, every known route… and nothing.” I studied it carefully before something clicked. “This only covers the werewolf lands,” I pointed out. “What about the northern continent?” He shook his head. “It’s unlikely. Anyone powerful enough to do this from there would have been noticed crossing into our territory.” “Still,” I said quietly, “anything is possible.”

Guardian-In-Law

Guardian-In-Law

Right after Hannah got her arm treated, one of her men came up with the burning question. With furrowed brows, Hannah said, “The Nether Viper Sword is the honor and glory of the organization. We cannot let it leave our possession. We have to contact the director and let her know. Kaze Lee is too strong, we can’t get it back on our own…” … The West State, similar to Midstate, was an administrative area governed by higher authorities than the South River, Butterworth, and other smaller states. The capital of the West State was known as Westeros, a metropolis.

So now that they divorced is it a way for him to make a heram? I hope the get back together soon and the author does not drag it too long. Even though Kaze didn’t have physical contact with any of these ladies he is not innocent as well. Darcy is well within her rights to be mad at Kaze
