Not untill the cars at the roadside became fewer and the woods start appearing, signaling that we were out of town. “HEY?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Daniel finally yelled out as i took a turn, leading us to a beach. “Do you want to commit suicide and have me die with you? No way!” Suddenly he pulled his gun out from his back pocket and started shooting at the front glass making me scream. “DANIEL WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Bang bang bang I stopped the car and leaned back on my backseat, breathing heavily.

Azalea pulls the chain hard causing Elizabeth to start choking and gasping for air. Elizabeth was losing breath Azalea knew it and pulled the chain harder. It was going to be a slow painful death for Elizabeth. "I'm going to enjoy watching you die right here Elizabeth" Azalea muttered acidly. "Hayden..." After dinner, the cup of milk appeared right on schedule. I lifted the cup, took a couple of sips, and kept the liquid in my mouth. Faking a trip to pour some water, I silently spat it out into the kitchen sink. The faint, bitter aftertaste clung stubbornly to the back of my tongue. I poured the remaining half-glass of milk into the sterile vial. At 1:00 am, thinking I was fast asleep, Alice slipped quietly out of bed. My eyes were cracked open just enough to see her grab her phone and walk out into the living room.

I sobbed, collapsing to the floor. "You shameless traitor," Adeline groaned, storming into the room and pointing a gun at Aunt Sadie. I jumped to my feet, backing away in fear. "Is this how you repay me for everything I have done for you and your family?" Adeline hissed, moving closer.

She screamed and dodged my attack by inches. Vincent sat on a chair as if it was his property and said, “This is entertaining to watch, but I don’t have all day. Kill her quickly.” My vision turned hazy, but I could see how I walked towards my own destruction. My hand grabbed Adeline by her throat, and I raised her in the air. She choked, trying to free herself from me. Please, no. I don’t want to do this. Tears fell down my eyes as I saw her face turning pale, the colors fading.

I forced myself to exhale, slow and shaky. My hands were still trembling, and when I looked down, I realized I’d dug my nails so deep into my palms that thin lines of blood were forming. Evelyn’s fists tightened, anger trembling through her bones. Behind her, Adrian raised his gun, standing beside her. “If you want her… you’ll have to go through me.” Marcus’s lips curved coldly. “Then die with her, Wolfe.” He raised his hand. A barrage of silver bullets exploded into the air. --- In a split second, Evelyn yanked Adrian aside and a bullet grazed his shoulder, blood splattering across the wall. She returned fire. ADELINA'S POV I sat across the glass wall with a warm mug in my palms just staring at the warm cup. I was still curious about the lady in the wedding photo but didn't know how to. Her pictures filled the room like he was scared to forget her One of my favourites was the cute one framed on a table right under the wedding photo.
