I smiled at them and tipped them an imaginary hat and they cheered for me. I cruised to a halt and jumped down from the car before grabbing my backpack and retrieving the Moon Phoenix. It glowed through the foil and I turned to look at the sunset, taking how beautiful it was against the skies. It was the reason for this glow. I unwrapped the Moon Phoenix and lifted it into the skies, towards the direction of the sunset and it let out a glow this time, it took the color of the sunset. Fiery orange, yellow, an almost red tinge, pink and purple. It let out its light, casting an ethereal glow around me.

She touches the orange ball of light and now, it is undulating between yellow, orange and red. “Ohhhh,” Blossom says, her eyes huge as she watches her light change colors. “Oh! Me next, me next, please!” Poppy says. Meadow reaches out, touching her light as well. Poppy’s light is blue, so hers begins shifting from lighter to darker shades of blue as we watch.

If anything, what I had seen on the TV seemed dull in comparison to what went on in the Iridescence Pack. My eyes widened and my jaw became slack as I realized why this was called the Carnival Cerulean. Bundles of living flame were suspended in the air, casting their beautiful light on the Carnival below. The flames weren’t normal, flickering with orange and red light. They were a rich shade of blue, cerulean to be exact. Within those flames were different shades and colors, all stemming from the color blue. They crackled and snapped, sending cobalt embers into the air whenever something managed to catch itself in the flames.

The bluish light of a white dwarf star broke the dawn on the purple planet far below. Meanwhile, stars glittered in the vast darkness of space above. A fighter screamed by, its guns blazing. It was very quickly followed by nearly a dozen more, all of which were similarly designed and bore the same logos - a sun surrounded by three rings. The fighters intercepted another fighter group, whose logos were of a purple four-pointed star, and entered into a vicious skirmish. Behind them were a smattering of ships, from frigates to cruisers.
