Novel & Cerita What Happened To Derek In Save The Last Dance 2

"Then what about the drinks I asked you to prepare?" "Right here." Derek held up a can of iced tea and gave it a little shake. "Canned iced tea. I even got the lightly sweetened kind. Thoughtful, right?" Pretty thoughtful indeed. Derek and I had been together for ten years. I had invited every relative I had to this engagement party. I wanted everyone to see that Serena Spencer was not without a man, and the man she was marrying was certainly not a cheapskate. But everything Derek had done tonight was a deliberate humiliation, played out in front of everyone I knew.

I placed my left hand on his shoulder and he put his hand on my waist as he spins me around. "You're not that bad at dancing." Joseph compliments. "Thank you! Of course, it is because of your help." I compliment back. When the song is over, Derek asks permission to cut in. Joseph hands me over with a kiss on the hand. I blush and bow slightly. I watch as he walks over to a few of the noblemen. Derek follows my line of sight and he grabs a hold of my waist. I giggle at his attempt to be better than Joseph.

" I admit that I always was jealous of you and your position. I was jealous of why they would choose you not me. But, once I realized that whatever I thought about you wasn't nothing but a childish thought, I found out, I just lost my best friend who would support me always. I... I sincerely apologize for everything. Loving her and choosing her was the grave mistake I have made. Now my child had to pay for my stupidity. She killed my child without my permission!" Derek moves, sighing. Not only did she destroy his love for years, but she also destroyed lots of people's lives like this. But Dwayne doesn't know that both of them fell in love with the wrong person. " Let me join! If you don't mi

By the end of our dance, I'm desperate to escape to the bathroom, but Derek blocks my path. "Don't go anywhere", he orders, his voice calm but commanding. Tears well up in my eyes as I plead, "Please, Derek, I can't …" He signals and the lights are dimmed. "No one will notice. Stay". By the end of the after party, I'm shaking and on the verge of tears. Derek takes one look at me and sweeps me into his arms, carrying me to his room. He gently pulls out the metallic balls, and I collapse on the bed, trembling.

He took Chelsea’s hand and swung her onto the dance floor. She was having a wonderful time despite the fuzzy head. Derek was a hoot. He howled like a coyote as they danced. After two fast songs, the DJ switched to a slow one. Chelsea put her arms around his neck. As they began to sway with the music, another couple bumped into them. “Oh, sorry - ,” the man began and stooped. The stranger and Derek looked at each other with surprise and recognition. “Derek Dawson, you son of a bitch!” the man said happily.

"Vanessa, I—" Before he could finish, Derek's voice cut in like a blade of ice. "There you are." Derek had appeared out of nowhere, his tall frame cutting off Cyrus's line of sight. He moved in with an aggressive, territorial grace, turning to Tabitha. His voice was steady but left no room for an argument. "Vanessa, would you be my partner for the first dance?" Tabitha looked up. Derek's eyes were already starting to glow with a faint golden tint. She felt a shiver run down her spine and nodded instinctively. "Okay."

Reasonably, Vers was likely still slumbering, making it the opportune moment for Derek to venture into the room and spring the surprise. He took off his shoes in front of the door, and sneaked in, but, it was only one step. There's a loud bang sound. "Akh!" Followed by a loud crash on the floor to a miserable scream. "Ahhhh!!" Derek found himself sprawled upon the unforgiving hardwood floor, his cheek pressed against its unyielding surface. His hands were twisted and held captive behind his back, while someone was so rude to sit on his back, exerting pressure against his waist.

"Derek—get your hands off me!" Liam appeared out of nowhere and shoved him back. "She said she doesn't want to talk to you. And you still show up?" Security dragged him out. As he left, he shot Liam a look—part fury, part humiliation. Later, Riley did marry Derek after all. But because he'd crossed the Kraft Group, Derek was disowned by the Teegers. She didn't get to be a rich wife. Frustrated and bitter, she fed him rat poison and fled.

“You understand that no matter what I say, it’s not going to sound very good, right? But you shouldn’t hold that against him. I mean, he didn’t even know you were still alive until a few days ago – ” “Just spit it out.” He sighed. “Derek doesn’t do dancing. He doesn’t do after-parties. He doesn’t do photos – not like this. He’ll take pictures with kids, yeah, but not club girls. After a show’s over, he picks a woman… sometimes two or three… and immediately takes them up to his room. Or he’ll get Miles to send up a selection, like room service. He never hangs out at these things afterwards. Never. I’ve never seen him act like this, not once over the last two years.”

The teams left the ice for break, but Derek didn’t follow his teammates to the locker room. Instead, he skated over to the announcer’s table and grabbed the microphone while glancing in my direction. “Ladies and gentlemen,” his voice echoed throughout the arena. “I have an announcement to make.” The entire crowd went dead silent. Down on the ice, I saw Hunter stop in his tracks near the tunnel. Seth and Zane froze beside him, all three turning to look at Derek with identical frowns of confusion. “Three weeks ago,” Derek continued, his eyes sweeping the crowd until they found mine, “I found my mate.”
