Novel & Cerita What Happened To Derek In Save The Last Dance 2

"I wanted to walk over there and remind you what it felt like to be seen. Really seen, not admired like a piece of art." "So you decided to destroy my marriage?" "I decided to save you from it." The words hit like lightning. Because that's exactly what this feels like—salvation and damnation wrapped in the same devastating package. My phone buzzes again. Alexander, of course. This time I don't even glance at it. "He's called twelve times," Derek observes. "Thirteen." "Aren't you worried?" "Terrified," I admit. "But not enough to answer." Derek's smile is fierce with approval. "There she is. There's the girl who told her parents she was sleeping at her best friend's house and snuck out to rid

Ethan coldly twisted open a bottle of water and poured it over Derek's head. Derek jolted awake, momentarily disoriented. When he saw me, he jumped to his feet excitedly. "Vivian, I've finally found you! Why did you change the lock code? I've made everything clear with Sarah. There won't be any third person between us anymore." "Vivian, can we get back together?" Derek's face was full of hope, but when he saw my expressionless face, that hope quickly faded.

Derek continued still maintaining eye contact with everyone. "I was lost without her but now I am so glad of her betrayal, if I had married her, I would have lived a life of misery but Fortune brought this beautiful woman standing beside me into my life" Kathleen blushed as all eyes turned her way, Derek turned to Christine, "thank you for what you did because if you had not done so, I wouldn't have met my queen here, and let me correct you something, you were my first love but not my last, this lady who I am holding her hand is my wife and my last love, I appreciate your best wishes, thank you". Someone whistled among the guest and there was applause.

I let out a sigh of relief as we disappeared into the night, away from that haunted place. A thought sinks in my head, my eyes narrowed, my voice laced with concern. "Where you able to reach Derek? He was supposed to save me." I ask him. He looks surprise at first that Derek was coming for me. “I couldn’t get a hold of him and what do you mean he is coming to save you, did you talk to him?” He asks. I guess he hasn’t heard the full story. “We talked and he struck a deal with the twins. I thought he sent you to save me because he didn’t trust them. If he didn’t send you then why did it take you so long to find me” I yell at him unintentionally.

Before he could reach me, though, his fellow dancers held him back. "Calm down, Derek," one of them urged, inadvertently revealing the name of the fellow who had dared to challenge me. The name struck a familiar chord in my memory, and a smirk played on my lips as the puzzle pieces fell into place. "Oh, so you're Derek, the one who despises Thorian with a burning passion?" I taunted, laughing as if I'd uncovered a thrilling secret. Derek's face contorted with anger, and he growled, "Shut the hell up!" He made a furious attempt to break free from his friends' restraining grip.

He was so out of tune that the rest of the world actually lived around him. "Come on baby, let's go home." He said pulling me out of the booth. He wiped my dress in the front and back like somehow his hand was disinfectant. I just shook my head at his ridiculousness. Boys, I swear they were so clueless. He led me through the dance floor but I pulled him back. "Wait! One dance, please." I wanted to spend all night dancing but Derek fuck that up. I could at least get one more with my guy to remember the night.

"I haven't misunderstood anything. I promised my brother I would take care of you, but that doesn't give you the right to slander Olivia. I will personally raise Nathan, but this ceremony is canceled." The elder looked between them, confused by the sudden turn of events, but wisely remained silent. "I've already abandoned Olivia twice," Derek continued, his voice growing firmer. "I will not abandon her a third time. From now on, our relationship is strictly as in-laws. I suggest you remember that." With those final words, Derek left without hesitation, ignoring Sarah's tearful pleas behind him. He raced to the cliff like a madman, but by the time he arrived, Emma and I—along with the wolves

While trying to save me, Derek took a gunshot that was directed at me and we figured out that the bullet had been laced with poison. The doctors couldn’t save him, so he died with a last wish that I take care of his sister, Lisa, and make sure she's always happy. He was my best friend and risked his life to save mine, so protecting Lisa with my power, strength, and everything that I had, was nothing compared to Derek’s sacrifices. To make Lisa happy, because she had loved me since we were children, I had to accept her possessive love and got engaged to her last night.

I couldn't help but smile mischievously as I continued to dance with my friends and looked away. *** I had danced for almost thirty minutes when suddenly a hand reached out and grabbed my hand, pulling me out of the crowd. "Hey, what's wrong with you?" I said. My words hung in the air as the man stopped and I looked at his face "Beta Derek?" Derek looked at me and let out a strange smile "May I have a dance?" At first I wanted to refuse, but I just nodded my head I had no idea why Derek had asked me to dance. Had Bennett sent him to convince me to cancel my wedding? Why else would Derek want to dance with me?

Like it never happened… Derek blinked, desperate to seek her out, past the blinding light hiding her from him in plain sight. All the while, the music picked up from the track she interrupted in her descent. The room was filled with bodies, still dancing around them, disorienting the pack further as they carefully cleared Aislyn from the room. No, no… no! He couldn’t lose her again! The girl he just danced with, his love, he couldn’t! “Would the Alpha care for a room?” he heard an unfamiliar male voice ask.
