Dream World

Dream World

Aria and Yuria looked at her. Laila bitterly smiled. “And, maybe, the West Kingdom’s royal library, too…” she told them. After all, it is where the witch now and the princes are fighting against her. Aria and Yuria fell silent, for they knew what Laila wanted to say. That is, the royal libraries of all the kingdoms were now destroyed. So, they no longer have any documents left by their ancestors. “This is going too far!” Aria said and clenched her fists in anger. But, what can she do? She has no more power to fight against the witch. Worse, the witch can actually easily pinch her to death.

Help! I don't want to be the female lead

Help! I don't want to be the female lead

The archives there held a wider range of content, and it was said all the books and records— long lost or not— was present in the Royal Library. However, other than the King and those selected by him, no one was allowed to enter the sacred place. As much as she craved to enter the place, she wasn’t fond of asking Alexander for help. The thought of encountering him made her feel nauseated now that she was aware of deeper section of the past, and it didn’t please her to learn that he killed Kayden in her last life.

The billionaire’s contracted wife

The billionaire’s contracted wife

The Mediterranean gleamed under a cloudless sky, but her mission brought no romance. Noor had been Echo’s embedded cultural intelligence liaison during the Balkan operations. She had flagged several covert ops as "non-compliant”—meaning illegal. In return, Echo’s former leadership had branded her a rogue, then quietly leaked enough information to paint her as unstable. Rafael had intervened—removing her, faking her death, and placing her into a civilian identity as an archivist in a coastal library. That’s where Lena headed now. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina was built like a sun-disk pressed against the sea. Inside, its long sloping walls housed millions of texts—most untouched, silent testame

DEMON ALPHA'S MATE

DEMON ALPHA'S MATE

I used the pack's general library and I also used Alpha Derek's private library whenever I had the chance to, which was once in a while because he sent me there but not with constant frequency. I actually got more information in the Alpha's private library than the general one because the Alpha's own contained more information due to its strange books. And I found out that the books in the library weren't strange at all; it was just that they contained information which was unknown to many. It was that time I understood why the library was private. A random person couldn't just enter into the library and access it because of the load of information it contained. Information which when placed

A Queen Among Tides

A Queen Among Tides

“I love to read. I suppose I have enough time to read anything and everything. I love escaping into a good book.” “You will LOVE the library here in Atlesper. It’s enormous, and even has a few recovered scrolls from the Great Library of Alexandria,” she smirks. My eyes widen to the size of saucers, “You don’t…” “We do,” she grins, “Was a shame how this epicentre of knowledge slowly dwindled over time, not to mention the accidental burning by Julius Caesar. We managed to save a few items and they have lived here ever since.” “I would truly love to see them sometime,” I say hopefully.

Another amazing book! I feel as though each book is my favorite in this series and I love the representation. This particular author has an amazing way of challenging vernacular and using it to empower her characters. Her world building has you vested in the outcome of the story and characters.

Fated (Book #11 in the Vampire Journals)

Fated (Book #11 in the Vampire Journals)

Her heart started beating faster, as she finally began to feel like she was onto something. The mythical city of Atlantis, of course, can be looked at in two ways. One is as a myth, a metaphor for some greater civilization, some place we strive to attain to as humans. The other is a real place, a place swept underwater, perhaps by a flood, or by a volcano or some other catastrophic event. The notion of a lost city, though, is not so far-fetched. Consider the lost libraries. Alexandria burned to the ground, taking with it half of our civilization’s scholarship. And what of the Hall of Records—fact or fiction? Caitlin blinked, processing it all. She’d never heard of the Hall of Records, and wa

Fake Vow, True Luna

Fake Vow, True Luna

I had to make things right, not just for Olivia and the twins, but for everyone. Picking up the phone, I dialed Layla’s number, hoping she’d have a solution for one of our most significant losses—the library. Layla’s pack had a long history of maintaining the largest collection of books and scrolls in the region, and I hoped she could lend her expertise. After a few rings, Layla’s familiar voice greeted me. “Nathan? To what do I owe the pleasure?” “Layla,” I began, my voice strained with weariness. “We need your help. The library’s gone—destroyed in the last attack. We’ve lost countless records, books, and ancient texts.”

Slavic Witch: Alpha King Mate

Slavic Witch: Alpha King Mate

, I said softly. “How about tomorrow you go to my library in Alexandria, and get some books on this, or on anything you really want. There are ancient texts about creation which can explain a lot and, of course, I am here too. We can stay there, there are gardens on that property with flowers from all over the world, or we can bring the books back here” he said. “Alexandria??? Isn’t that far away from here? How will we get there in one day?”, I looked at him dumfounded.

Curse of the Spotlight

Once again, I was causing my focus to break for no valid reason. I needed to get to the library to clear my mind. My objective was to research this cult Alexander had mentioned. Maybe there would be names given for this area or something. A vampire library likely had extra content, after all. Humanity may have failed to properly document the existence of their kind, but I wasn't in a place run by them.

SUPREME GHOST WEREWOLF

SUPREME GHOST WEREWOLF

Around the fire, old stories were retold, and new ones born, each meshing their cloth of belongingness tighter. Under the infinite night sky full of stars, Alex and Kai found themselves in the ancient library, researching some texts they had bumped into not long ago. The library, in all appearance a house like a storage shed of forgotten knowledge and antique wisdom, kept countless secrets that might one day be vital to them. "We will have to be ready for anything," Kai said as his eyes flipped through the old tome, "so much yet unknown." Alex nodded in agreement. "Ancient texts bear valuable knowledge; there is much to learn and adapt."
