I didn't know what it all meant, and part of me started to think that maybe I was crazy. The next morning, I awoke with a pounding headache, the lingering effects of the alcohol, and I had to move cautiously to avoid dizziness. Stumbling around my room, I started unpacking my college bag and throwing books on my desk. As I did so, one of the books fell and hit the floor, revealing the page I had marked. As I bent down to pick it up, my eyes fell on the image of a demon - its large, dark wings, sharp claws, and terrifying face. That's what I saw last night. It had to be a demon. But Cole fought it immediately without thinking.

Her wolf struggles, her teeth elongate, glinting dangerously, while her claws extend, ready to fight. I come out of her nightmare and stumble towards the small, dimly lit bathroom tucked away in the corner of her room. With a violent heave, bile rises from the depths of my churning stomach, escaping my lips in a convulsive expulsion. The vivid, haunting images from her dream relentlessly replay in my mind, their grotesque details etched into the deepest recesses of my consciousness. I don’t consider myself a good person. I’m part demon after all, but even I am shocked by unimaginable depths of evil that now haunt me.

It’s ridiculous that the one was willing to go as far as risking death just to get laid. I glance over at the demon on the couch, he has his hands resting behind his head, his jaw is clenched and he’s staring up at the ceiling deep in thought. I focus my gaze somewhere else, no need to be creeping on the guy by staring at him. As I try to figure a way out of my current situation with my new roommate, I didn’t realize that my eyes were getting heavy and I dozed off. ~~~~~ -LUCIFER-

“You can just practice your demon-controlling abilities on this one.” I paused. It wasn’t a horrible plan. Still, the thought of leaving that thing under Nova’s roof while she slept didn’t sit right with me. She took one look at my face, and the growing darkness spreading across it like wildfire, and shook her head. “This demon isn’t like the one inside of Coop. It’s a … an incubus.” Her blush deepened. Why the hell was she blushing? “Look it up once I leave the room and you’ll understand. I’m staying in another part of the house while my bedroom is occupied.” I already had my phone clutched in hand when I asked, “Why do you want me to wait until you leave the room?”

Amy asked. “It’s a small projector,” I told her. “Watch this video that I recorded this morning.” Amy cringed when a gray-haired ghost seemed to stick his head through the closet door before his face melted away. “That’s what I saw,” she confirmed. “It’s just gruesome.” “I pushed a button on that tiny projector that was under the bed, and that happened. It wasn’t real,” I assured her. Amy looked horrified but for a different reason. “Was somebody under the bed?”

he suggested, his voice resonating with strategic intent. Ralph focused his gaze on the decaying house, his eyes glowing with an otherworldly energy. Through the power of his x-ray vision, the walls seemed to fade away, revealing the hidden secrets within. "I perceive two demons lurking inside," Ralph reported, his voice filled with a sense of urgency. "One stands guard at the entrance, while the other feasts upon the flesh of the unfortunate."

The door was slightly open, and when I took a peek, he was sitting on the floor, resting his back on the wall. It seemed like that was how he knew how to sleep. He was also in the same position when I found out about his phobia for thunderstorms. Who on earth sleeps without lying on the bed? That person only had to be Demon. And it got me wondering what kind of rough life he grew up in. If only he could open up to me, I’d be so happy. Exhaling again, I went to my room. Laying on the bed, my eyes kept counting the lines in the ceiling, Demon's words about the video replaying in my ears like a broken record.

We were dismissed. As the door shut behind us, the demon purred. 《There’s something calling to me in that room. Mmm. Delicious.》 My brows drew together. “Do demons… eat?” 《Not the way you think. But I suppose we can find it later.》

“Hey—hey, look at me, cousin. Breathe. Focus on my voice. What did you see? Tell me everything.” I force air into my lungs, my voice trembling, every word hard-won. “The pack… it was empty. Everyone was gone. The streets...dead. Everyone was asleep. Zeke was…” I swallow hard, the image of his black eyes searing my mind. “His seal was broken. And there was a man...no, not a man. A demon. He had grey skin, smoke everywhere around him...he was terrifying. He told me I’d been sleeping too long.”

I mumbled. Sabrina cursed under her breath when she saw the shadows too. I looked back at the two bodies that the demons possessed. Their bodies slowly fall down like paper onto the floor. Screams resonated the entire room and my eyes widened in horror upon seeing the two dead bodies slowly disappearing and seconds later it became dust. Everyone fell silent in shock.
