[Third Person POV] As the leveling continues, Luna still couldn't help but think of the portals that have opened. She feels like she is connected to what was happening. It’s a strong feeling that can't be ignored. Meanwhile, when Leena entered the mysterious portal tree, she was taken to an unfamiliar place. She was in a forest and all she could only hear was the sound of crickets and birds chirping. She felt her surroundings and suddenly, a white bird approached her. Her face lit up and talk to the bird.

It was a black portal that had brought us here in the past but then how do we get back to the cave of deceit, where we are meant to be right now? I sat on the ground, trying not to give up hope. Liam rolls his eyes and grabs my hand before pulling us both through the portal. I whip my hand backward, closing the portal behind us as we gain our bearings inside the cave. The sound of the waterfall rushing down into the big pond below soothes my heart and soul. I take a deep breath, absorbing the feeling this place gives me. I look over at Liam, who is holding his stomach, crouched over before he stands up and adjusts his posture. I giggle and place my hand over his stomach, healing the nausea from the portal jump. He clears his throat before pouting at me, trying to act like he is the big, strong Alpha I know he is, but portal jumping is clearly not easy for everyone.

"Do you think words matter? Can they resurrect the dead? No. They can't." Levi glanced back at the elves. The portal was almost complete. Time was running out. He shouted over the roar of dragon wings and fire, "I also know you never touched Princess Eloise. You had no idea she came to the Vampire Realm. I'm not telling you this for forgiveness—I'm telling you because… I want to survive!" With a surge of speed, Levi darted toward the portal. "Everyone, get inside! Now!" The elves tumbled through the shimmering gateway, one by one. Micha stayed behind just long enough to ensure Levi was safe before diving in himself.
