Kingston, who was already sitting, seemed to have anticipated this move and swiftly lifted the tablecloth to shield himself from the splashing liquid. Each of Kingston's mates around the table jumped in surprise. Using the gingham tablecloth as his slingshot, Kingston's lightning-fast reflexes caused the tumbler to fly in the opposite direction. Unfortunately, that direction was mine.
