I did sign him up for kindergarten so he'd make friends that are not adults but this wasn't the result I expected for the few times he actually went to school. “ Why would they teach children as young as me that?” He raised a brow like I had gone mad or something. “ I don't even know what to say,” I pulled myself to my feet. “ I just read about it in the library but that's as far as my knowledge goes,” he shrugged.

They were clearly at a loss for what to say in response. There was something about me that most people misunderstood. They assumed that I was a pushover simply because I did not raise to pettiness. I grew up with outsiders talking shit about me, so I learned how to let it roll right off of me because I had nothing to prove. That did not mean that I was incapable of holding my own.

They were relatively young and did not seem powerful at all. “How many young talents can there be in the world?
