Turning my head slightly, I caught sight of Katie standing awkwardly near the doorway, scratching her head.
She’d clearly been watching, and the uncomfortable look on her face was obvious.
“Alpha,” Katie said, trying to force a smile, “I think I’ll… see you later.”
I nodded, my arm still around Emma. “Alright. But remember to take your things out of the pack house.
They’ve already prepared a new place for you, so you don’t need to stay here anymore.”
Katie’s smile wavered for a moment before she quickly nodded. “Got it.”
