As soon as I showered and sat on my bed I passed out face first into my Calculus book.

"You can go check, dear. It might still be there, if the truck hasn't come by to pick up the trash." He didn't even finish these words before I had dashed off, running out of the store and racing round the back to where the trash was. I had to find that book. The big dumpster was out back like he had said and I cringed for a second before leaning into the big, green container, holding my nose with my right hand. I was actually searching the trash for a book I had seen in my dream that could get me out of my deal with the Devil. Yeah, it was a perfectly normal after school activity.
