Watching where the sea and the sky met. I stepped forward close to the barrier and climbed the stairs to get closer to the railings. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, breathing in the fresh ocean air that weirdly brought this calming sensation. I splayed out my arms as I tried to re-enact that particular scene in titanic.

As the sun sank beneath the horizon, painting the sky in deep purples and oranges, the ocean glimmered with the reflected colors, dancing like flames. Standing at the ship's railing, Gabriel Blackthorne appeared like a dark silhouette against the vibrant backdrop, a figure of brooding intensity lost in thought. As Amelia approached him, her heart raced with each step, the air thick with unsaid words and electric anticipation.

Although I’m still only 18, I feel like I've lived in this world for decades. As we start to pass the seaside, I stare at it with wonder. I'd never seen the ocean before, and it's so grand. Aquamarine waves shine under the light of the rising sun, and the sky looks so beautiful with streaks of orange and pink illuminating it. Soft clouds roll leisurely, and on one side the moon still watches over me, hazy and setting, with the promise of reappearing in the night. Maybe, just maybe, something good will finally come from all the bad.

Setting the phone down, my gaze drifts to the horizon, where the sea and sky blur into one endless line. This is exactly where I will forge an unbreakable woman. I won't leave until I become her.

CASSANDRA'S POV I wandered through a world too beautiful to be real. The sky above me was a swirl of pastel blues and golds, clouds glowing like brushstrokes on a canvas. Below, the ocean shimmered, mirroring the sky in perfect, glassy reflection. A soft wind blew, carrying with it the scent of wildflowers in full bloom, painting the coastline with bursts of violet, crimson, and orange. I stood barefoot on the sand, watching. And then... I saw her.

The wedding invite said the ceremony was in the afternoon, and as I was about to book a ride, Sunny piped up, "We're not seriously going like this, are we? Let's hit the mall and find something snazzy to wear." Glancing down at my laid-back gear, she had a point. Off to the mall we went. Sunny picked out a dazzling wine-red dress and got her hair done up nicely. That's when I saw her, really saw her, without the lab coat and nerdy glasses; she was stunning. Caught staring, she gave me a confident spin and tidied up my tie, "Mr. Rogers, I won't cramp your style, will I?" Her subtle bookish charm mixed with a hint of perfume hit me. I finally understood why we clicked so fast.

She narrowed her eyes in nervousness with a shy smile on her lips. Moon: It's like these clothes are made for you. Ocean: What do you mean? Moon: I mean you look beautiful in my clothes. Ocean blushed even more and Moon chuckled. Ocean: I need to get back, uncle Jack must be worried about me. Moon: Hey! When will we meet again? Ocean: Monday, at school. Bye Moon Moon: Bye Ocean. Take care of yourself.

Did I jump into the dark waters of the mighty Atlantic ocean? Yes. The water of the ocean had my sky in it's fold. I have to get it back. &&&

The ocean sounded different when you were lying naked beside someone you weren’t supposed to love. Waves brushed against the shore like sighs. The breeze kissed our skin, cool and constant, as if trying to ground us back to reality. But reality had no place here. We lay in silence, side by side on the sand, his hand resting near mine but not touching. Our breaths rose and fell in sync, our bodies warm despite the chill creeping in with the morning tide. I stared at the sky. It was streaked with lavender and soft blue, an open wound of light. Clouds drifted slowly above, indifferent and calm. The kind of sky that had seen lovers like us before. The kind of sky that didn’t promise happy ending
