I would talk about going on a hunt for the perfect mother of my children but she was working for me all along. My secretary was the perfect fit. Her name was Samantha Logan, nicknamed Sam. I couldn't make this up. She grew up in a small town in Southern Georgia. So small, the biggest event of the year was a peach festival. Her father was a minister, mother a school teacher. {SAMANTHA’S POV} Samantha raced the BMW on the outskirts of Boston, Sam in the passenger seat beside her, heading along the highway towards Salem. She was increasingly annoyed at the growing difficulty in finding his dad. She’d been sure, when she’d seen those Facebook messages, when Sam had told her with such excitement that he’d been in touch with him, that this would be easy. She would just take him to his dad’s house, and from there it would be a direct path to the sword.

Sam stood his ground, “He can't expect to post that shit about you and go scot-free. Anybody that messes with you, Luke, they mess with me.” Sam sidestepped him and fled the room. “Oh, God!” Luke muttered and chased after him. “Sam, hold on.” He kept pleading with him to stop and reconsider, but Sam wasn't hearing him. Sam's friends, Tom and Mike were waiting for him on the school grounds. “Hey, guys,” He greeted them cheerfully, shaking their hands, “So, who's this Dexter guy?” Luke stood by the side and listened as Tom and Mike filled Sam in about who Dexter was.

Looking at the scared manager, Samuel continued, "If I want you to say it, say it. Otherwise, I can only ask Manfred to take you away." The manager was frightened and quickly said, "Samuel is a live-in son-in-law of the Sue family. In Cloud City..., he is, he is a famous loser."

It wouldn't be a big deal for him but it's a big deal for me. "I can't understand this boy sometimes. He came back after so long and went back to Melbourne the next hour?" Paa shrugs. "He came on urgent notice. There must be a lot of work piled up", mama replies. Samuel has been handling the only branch in Australia under our father's joint company for three years now. I still don't understand why he left playing soccer. He was doing so well and I would know about his achievements from Emmy. I thought he was going to make it big. However, he changed his profession right before he could be a big thing. This will always remain a mystery to me.

I explained everything that I knew from Lucas' sister. "What's your point Veronica?" she asked, still confused. "Their cousin's name is Sam," I said. "I don't get it, Vy. What really is your point?" she asked irritatedly. "Sam, Gail." I stopped as I felt a sudden pain in my chest, "Lucas is Samantha's driver. I-I mean, at least that's what I thought. She's from Australia. Their cousin's name is Sam, and she's back from outside the country. Doesn't it make sense?" I asked, frustrated.

“So, I don't want to think about stepping into senior high right now, Master.” Jasson’s forehead wrinkled, “India?” he questioned, his hands clenched as he laid it on the table. His perfect jaw tightens for no apparent reason. Samara shook her head. Her father is Indian, and her mother is Filipino. The two met at Isla Lutherio. Mara, Samara’s mother, was born and raised on the island. She met Dawood, Samara’s father when she was eighteen when the latter works as Jasson’s personal driver.

Beatrice then looked at Andrius. Instead of looking back at his fiancé and answering the question, he focused his attention on Sam. The woman then stopped eating. She wiped her lips and looked at her father. “Certainly!” it’s Mr. Johansson. “Cebu is a tropical paradise. Samantha suddenly stood up. “Excuse me.” Andrius wanted to panic. He had a hunch why Samantha suddenly stood up and left. But he couldn’t do anything. He couldn’t show any fondness to Sam while they were facing Beatrice. He just followed her with his gaze.

What would it hurt? “It’s true that I’m usually at a desk and not in coveralls,” Sam said, skirting the question. “But I’m not a big deal in the TV broadcasting world.” He didn’t mention that no one outside of Amor’s news station even knew who he was. Katie must have been able to smell the deception from across the table because her nose scrunched up. Sam tried not to notice how adorable it was and dropped his gaze to the checkered placemat in front of him. “What story are you doing at the auto shop?”

He didn't even snap to his senses after Sam and Caleb disappeared from the hotel lobby. A colleague approached him and poked him excitedly. "Hey, do you know who you were just talking to? He's the CEO of XR Entertainment. He's the one who made my idol famous! Is he here to stay? What floor is he on? Can I give him room service?" The manager stared at the phone his colleague handed him. His mind was in a mess as soon as he saw the information displayed on it. Sam was the second son of the Johnsons. He was also the CEO of XR Entertainment.
