The Demon Queen's Desire

The Demon Queen's Desire

I glared up at him. He smirked and shrugged. “They aren’t me. You pack animals don’t understand how the world really works. By watching out for myself, I’ve ensured my little family lives when so many others died. All I had to do was keep to myself.” “I’d rather die than feed you. Monsters like you are the reason why humans have a poor impression of us. The selfish ones, the ones who take from others and contribute nothing.” I poked him aggressively.

Brilliant story, interesting characters with real development. It is beautifully written (sadly in contrast with a lot of the material on this App). This book and the others in the series is the best I've read here. I highly recommend it.

I loved this book so much!!!! The author is a great writer and storyteller, the characters are intricate and interesting and the plot is amazing and finally different from everything I read on these kinds of apps until now. Highly recommended!!!!

Sir Ares, Goodnight!

Sir Ares, Goodnight!

“If you don’t make her feel better, I won’t allow you to live peacefully too.” When Monster saw the invincible Jay getting frustrated and angry, he seemed to have a taste of the joys of revenge. He started laughing wildly. “Haha, I’m already a lone wolf. I’ve long been unafraid of death. Plus, I’ve already accepted the fact that you lot will be imprisoning me in Mount Pearl for a lifetime.” Jay leaned forward as his pupils shot out a cold glare, as if countless sharp arrows were about to shoot toward Monster. “I know that you’re not afraid of suffering when it comes to physical pain, Monster. But are you afraid of mental and heart suffering?” Jay hissed.

A FAKE LIFE

A FAKE LIFE

Because I would have preferred never to be born if my destiny was a path of rocks that fell on me with every step I take. When life hits you so many times you end up getting used to the dark, you end up glowing in it, scary and creepy. But it is the only way to survive. You become friends with the monsters under your bed, your blood turns black, your life doesn't come out of the storm and you become a shadow of who you used to be.

Runaway Wife Inheriting Billions from Bigshots Brothers

They can only resolve to have a fill to different kinds of animals even if they were so poisonous that they might faint already and just die. So if any living things are presented to their sight, even if it was a baby was in their eyes, of course that baby fate was destined already after a matter of second as that baby was destined to be eaten sending the bloody flesh to the monster belly and pure and innocent soul will be sent to heaven early after he or she was just born. If it was a girl or a boy It’s the same for them who had gone hungry for so many years but still lay low to wait for their monsters population to grow and lurk around every city to know when to take action.

The Mafia's Forced Bride

The Mafia's Forced Bride

"But I'll take what I can get." He put his arm around me, careful of his injured shoulder, and pulled me close. I leaned against him, breathing in his scent. Smoke and expensive cologne and something uniquely him. "Are you scared?" I asked quietly. "Terrified," Dante admitted. "But I'm more terrified of the alternative. Of doing nothing while they hurt people. Of raising our child in a world where monsters rule from the shadows." "We're monsters too," I reminded him. "We've killed people. We've destroyed lives."

House of the Wolves

House of the Wolves

“How do you plan to stop me, child? You are but an ant trying to kill a God.” “You are no God. Do not delude yourself so,” my tone sharpens, my composure on the edge. He dares compare himself to the Gods, to those who created him? He is one entitled monster. “Ah, but am I not, when I can end the longest-surviving race from the face of the Earth? When I can rid this world of misery?” My brows furrowed. “If that is what you think makes a God, then Gods must be merciless monsters. Born to destroy the world that gave them the very strength to do so.”

The Blood Orchid

The Blood Orchid

Just like she was about to do right now. “If Werewolves are aberrations, what does that make those Monsters?” “It makes them worse. Leviathans are complete beasts hiding in a human skin. They were actually made in a lab and what could be more unnatural than that?”. He spoke without attempting to hide the disgust and hate in his voice. He obviously had some ugly history with them. It made her scared a bit to see how much he hated them because that meant they were formidable opponents and that she was in grave danger for something she couldn’t even understand.

I Moan for My Ex’s Uncle

I Moan for My Ex’s Uncle

“It’s over. Everything is okay. You are doing just fine.” I shook my head. “It’s not. What if…what if one day I become a monster like I was today? What if I hurt you? What if I vanish someday and never come back? What if I tried to kill, too, blinded by the control of something dark? You don’t understand, it’s possible and horrible. It’s like I am a puppet. I can’t control myself.” What if he weren’t here to talk me out of it? What if something like this happens again, and I can’t do anything about it? What if, what if, what if!

The Apocalypse Hoarder

The Apocalypse Hoarder

The young woman’s words sent a chill through the group. She was right. The monster never slaughtered them all at once. Each time it appeared, it selected a few and left the rest alive, like livestock. When hunger struck, it killed a couple and let the others keep breathing. "We're done," the young woman said as she broke down. "There's no hope left. There won't be any rescue. This world is finished." Christopher clenched his teeth. "There will be. There has to be. We're elites. The best of society. People like us don't just die here."
