I hate how it doesn’t sound like a joke. Because that’s the problem with monsters— Sometimes they’re the only ones who see you clearly. And they use it to their advantage. I don't even know why I'm not screaming and crashing tf out right now.

Sometimes darkness wouldn't scare me but people around me would do. Monsters were scary but some pupils that were around were worst than monsters, they act as if they were heartless and maybe they were because the organ had long been filled with darkness leaving it as hard as a rock. They didn't feel anything while hurting others but karma was a bitch and it bit them way harder. I had gone through a lot, seen a lot of monsters, scarier and wilder than a real demon. As a rogue wolf from childhood, life wasn't easy, no it was far worse than a nightmare.

Everyone lives with a charade for the public eye, acting the way a civilized person does. But not everyone is civilized. Monsters are real. And they have their own version of the world. I should know, I was kidnapped by one. Dragged down into the pits of their hell. Changed. Altered. Forced to do anything to survive.

Being good has never paid anyone, it always made them weak and that was why he was dead and I was still here. This world wasn’t meant for good people, they were all dead because they couldn’t survive, including her. “Wow, I guess it doesn’t pay to be a better person because he’s dead and I’m not” I stared deep into her eyes, the moon glistening on her skin making her look extraordinary. We just need to make sure we never lose ourselves, and we need to make sure we never act like monsters to those who are innocent. The last thing we want is hurt people who don’t deserve it.”

They are in the same boat and escaping it is not easy when there is a storm coming this way.

Reason ,well you see I have just been taught one thing and that's the very fact that in this world of monsters,only innocents suffer. So you either remain innocent and let these monsters break you,or become a monster and rule over them. I choose latter and I happily say,I don't give a fuc* about anything else. "What are you doing?"

The sooner you realise that, the better for you.” I turn the other way, ready to leave but turned back to tell him one more thing. “Being a monster is not just about being bad and ruthless, it’s a also about being in charge.” He narrows his eyes at me and I feel my insides begin to twist, I wonder if it’s something I ate.
