I asked Hazel, who didn't seem to be fazed by White's actions. "How did you think he earned his fearsome reputation? By being covered in white furs?" She asked sarcastically, trying to catch her breath. "Your father thinks he commands monsters. Soon enough, he'll know of this monster killer." She said, looking me in the eyes. I frowned. White casually sauntered towards us, looking like his normal goofy self... apart from all the blood stains in his fur. "C'mon buddy, I think that's enough for today." Hazel said, patting him lightly. He didn't seem to appreciate that, as he bared his fangs at her in warning.

One such thing was Damien; he was out there somewhere, looking for me and hunting me for some unknown reason. But tonight has shown me one important thing. It has shown me that the safest place for me now is the Kingdom of the White Vampires. They are called White Vampires because of their fair skin. Rowan lifted his other hand to finish it, and that’s when it happened. A flash of white. No, it wasn't white. It was blinding, holy even and almost impossible. It erupted right in front of Rowan, exploding outward like a star being born. Every warrior, every puppet, every creature on the field cried out and shielded their eyes. I fell onto my hands as the world turned winter white. “What…?!” Rowan snarled, stumbling back. The light reached my skin, warm, and familiar, and I just knew who it was.

He singled out a prominent one and held it out toward me. "See the hole within it. That is how a vampire feeds. Their fangs are similar to tiny straws that suck up blood. It is the way I am certain is how you feed," he said firmly and I poked at my fang to try and feel the opening. I tilted my head back to ask if I had holes. He glanced down into my mouth and told me that yes I had tiny holes in my fangs. "Interesting, why wasn't I ever told that?" I muttered and he shrugged nonchalantly.
