Let them rot. "Dream on," I said coldly. I didn't wait for their reaction. I turned and walked away, heading straight for the pack's forbidden grounds—the Core Magic Circle. I was leaving this hellhole, but I wasn't leaving empty-handed. In the center of the shimmering magic circle lay a small, white piece of bone. It was my mother's finger bone. She was the previous White Wolf, and she died protecting this pack. She left me nothing but this bone, which acted as a battery powering the defensive barrier of the territory.

Their leader is a black wolf with blue eyes, and he wants to stand on the high cliff and declare war on his opponent. The Red Wolve did not dare to stop but only dared to lean to the side. Wolves usually have gray and yellow fur, but with wolves having white, black, and red fur is very special. The black wolf that received the order to distract Windy was just a wolf with yellow fur because to distract the opponent, he disguised himself to look like Ezra.

He’s gonna kill the kid before I can reach him! Fuck… A blur of white suddenly crashes into it midair. The enemy wolf slams sideways before a sickening crack echoes through the burning library. The wolf’s body drops lifelessly onto the floor. My entire body goes rigid. The white figure walks in front of the boy, as if protecting him, and then I get a better view of it. It’s a white wolf. Its platinum fur shines majestic even in the hellish flames and thick smoke that surrounds us. No fucking way.

She walked closer to one of the big shelves and touched it. She knew she wasn't supposed to be there, but she couldn't help looking around more. She took one book from the shelf and cleaned off the dust on it. She saw a picture of a black wolf on the cover of the book, which was titled A Pack of Wolves. "I can't believe a man like him reads fantasies." She scoffed. She was going through the books when her eyes suddenly caught a book. The book had a black cover with no picture on it. "Werewolves rule." She read it silently. She was about to open the book when she suddenly heard something whispering behind her.

“I didn't mean to. I was just taken aback by the color of your fur.” *** At the same time, in the Winter Pack, Julian was inside the library, and books littered around him on all sides. He sat on the floor, his back pressed against a rack, his brows were slightly furrowed as he focused his gaze on the content of the book he was currently reading. “The white wolf,” he read aloud. His fingers traced the words line by line until the end of the page before he moved, flipping the page to the next, and he repeated the motion all over again.

I leaned my head back against the shelf. I had strategically hidden myself just in case an intruder stepped into the library. I silently shook my head at what my life was becoming, full of paranoia as I was more than terrified of what the said woman could do to me. I kept rereading the same line over and over again. It was about the white wolves and I mused at how someone had to die before my zeal to find out the truth was renewed. 'The white wolves were from an ancient line of werewolves, one of the pure breeds.' the book read.

I will kill them. But suddenly, something explodes from the underbrush. It isn’t Frank. It is a huge white wolf with blue eyes and boy does it look pissed. It knocks me out of the way. I notice how its fur reflects the moonlight. I have never seen this wolf before and I can’t look away. He is beautiful. The White Wolf bares his fangs as he advances on the three wolves. They whine and scatter. Their tails are low, ears pressed back, as they slink into the shadows like a scolded puppy.

But Logan had lost his balance and Casper had fallen from that height, resulting in a dislocated elbow and several other wounds. Casper had been his closest friend. This might prove Axton's theory of humans wanting more after finding little. Maybe they were the ones that carried the bodies of those lycans, and now they're back for more. But somehow I disagreed with that thought. What if this guy has read some books and done a little research, and now he wants to discover one for himself? That also makes sense.
