Kael roared. The clearing exploded. Wolves shifted mid-stride, Blackthorn and Ironfang crashing together in a fury of claws and fangs. Elara felt the shift rip through her, hybrid form surging, silver fur rippling, claws extending. She leaped into the fray beside Kael, tearing through an Ironfang scout who lunged for her mate’s back. Blood sprayed. Screams rose. The stones watched in silence. But in the chaos, Elara saw it, a flicker of movement at the edge of the circle. A cloaked figure slipping away. Not Ironfang colors. Blackthorn colors.

“Mommy… they’re singing to me. Everything happened too fast. The misfortune came like an avalanche and no one expected doomsday was coming again after so many years of living in peaceful hiding. In a once peaceful village of the White Elf Tribe or the Healer Elves, a cruel onslaught took place; humans namely bandits, poachers and black merchants ambushed and pillaged their village. They never got involved in the affairs of the world and focused on healing but that night, they unleashed their full fury against the Elves. Zedekiel’s ethereal form floated in the sky, watching as the Nightshades wreaked havoc on his kind. He didn’t remember ever fighting Alaric’s coven which meant it was also erased from his memories.

Dark magic flickered around his fingers. “End the hybrid,” he shouted. Everything happened at once. Kael moved first, shifting mid-step. Bones cracked. Fur burst through the skin. A massive gray wolf lunged toward the attackers. Dante vanished in a blur, reappearing behind one of the cloaked figures. His hand wrapped around the man’s throat. Zephyr lifted his palm and the air itself seemed to harden. Raven did not move. The third attacker broke free from the chaos and ran straight toward her.

Thankfully the Elven knights took care of the empress's body. The Elven King was very disturbed by his daughter's death. He for the last time helped the Bliaviroth empire to defeat the vampires. With powerful magic spells of Elven knights the vampires were sent back into their Dark Kingdom. The elves then sealed them inside and closed the outlet of Dark Kingdom. After that I never got to see elves, it looked like they vanished from the earth. When I returned back after five years of long battle, my younger sister was already married with a man who looked exactly like Loren Ragnar.

----- Three days later, the attack came. Not at night like I expected. But in broad daylight, while Leah was training in the clearing. I heard the wards scream and knew immediately. Multiple people.
