Merlin chuckled darkly, letting go of my hair as she turned to face the girl. "Bullying is prohibited in this school, you know this," the girl said, fearless and I am convinced that she definitely didn't know what she was up against. If she did she wouldn't be this fearless and audacious. "No one will know except you tell them. I'm sure you wouldn't snitch, right, Riley?" Merlin smiled intimidatingly, her friends standing behind her, ready to attack if needs be. "Stay out of this red head. You'll get yourself killed," I yelled, trying to get her to leave.

'Were you so desperate to paint him in a good light that you ignored the obvious warning signs? "So why are you smashing up his house if he's so dangerous?" Alice asked. "I said my brother was afraid of him," Riley said. "I'm not my brother. For one thing, I'm a lot bigger than he is." This made the other boys chuckle. At around six foot seven or eight, Riley was a lot bigger than most people. Plus, he was only around eighteen, so there was a chance he'd continue to grow and bulk out. He could be a monster of a man in a few years.

Just because she's Xena's friend, does that mean she deserves to be bullied by you?" Haley suddenly burst into laughter.

I couldn’t help but smile, appreciating her fierce loyalty and the fun she would bring to our team. "Diana will be the first target, then Mr. Hunter, Tommy, James, and finally Dylan," I declared, feeling a sense of justice and determination.

Riley replied, though her grin betrayed her delight. The masseur doubled his efforts, drawing out delighted gasps from Riley. Yanely barged in, heedless of boundaries. "Mom, Madeline's been bullying me. You have to help me get back at her!" Caught off guard, Riley sat up abruptly and clutched her robe. She shot the masseur a knowing glance, and he discreetly exited, though not without sending a sly wink her way. Riley felt a flutter in her chest but quickly turned her attention to Yanely.
