Why Are You Doing This Duke Novels & Stories

Duke continued presenting his desire to Dominic. To him, it was now or never. “I need you to fake an open proposal to her. This has to be done publicly.” “But what is your reason for this uh…unusual request?” Dominic was still shocked. “Because my daughter is out of control.” Duke didn’t see any point in mincing words. The guy had to know what was needed to know. “She is wild and badly behaved. And trust me, it is not because I have been a bad parent. It is just how she has turned out. And the sort of wayward behavior she constantly exhibits is a threat to my political goals. People no longer judge me by my personality. They are starting to judge me for her disgraceful behavior. If I don’t d

Duke chuckled. “That’s only because they don’t make me in a stuffed animal.” “Whatever.” I blocked him out, and looked back at Chastity with a smile. “It is definitely Duke. Do you want him?” I asked. “Yes please. As long as you don’t mind.” Chastity responded with hope shining in her eyes. “Not at all.”

I never knew that the mannequin challenge was also a trend here. My father ran and gave respect to the two. He even apologized because he said I was bothering them. Duh! They were the ones who bothered me! Eventually, the Duke took me down. I thanked him as if I owed him everything. Fortunately, Reyner explained that I was their friend, and it was only a small thing to help me. The annoying Duke asked where his room was because he wanted to rest. What was he trying to imply? “My dear, how did you meet the Prince and Duke Frederick?”

It wasn’t going to happen. The door opened again, and Duke walked in, but this time he was empty-handed. Dad was going to be buried today. I didn’t forget, but I ignored it on purpose because I foolishly wanted to believe pretending it wasn’t happening would make things go back to the way I wished it was. “Why are you not dressed?” Duke asked me in a tired voice. His eyes trailed to the cart with uneaten meals, and he sighed in disappointment, which made me almost snap at him.

Ace said more like threatened him. "Grandfather wants an heir" Duke said "That's why you sent your sample to the hospital." Ace said "I didn't expect them try to mess with it. Luckily Max destroyed it before it fall in their hands" Duke said. "Duke don't take this risk. Why don't you have a girlfriend?" Ace asked Duke who smiled hearing this "The person who said girlfriend and marriage is waste of time" Duke smirked at Ace. "Don't worry about me." Ace was about to say something when Duke's phone started ringing.

(Duke Merrica) "Because Hallerus is stable….and you..you are different from other nobles, you care for your people…to the point you foolishly decided to attack the largest bandit group with only 150 knights….I like guys like you, honest and straightforward....but, mainly because you and your nations just happen to be close to where I am…haha..". "hahaha….Is that so….".(Duke Merrica) His laugh was definitely forced, but the reason I gave should be sufficient for now. He already knows that my main reason to be here was to do business and not to harm him, whether he fully trusts it or not, it's up to me to show him later.

“It’s a pleasure to see you here. I thought you wouldn’t make it tonight.” Duke nodded at him before he pulled me beside him, “I thought, too. Hadn’t it for my wife, everything tonight would be wasted, don’t you agree?” I roamed my eyes around the place and found out that there are humans, too. So, that was why my uncle is addressing Duke to his surname. But why did Duke say that I’m the reason why we’re here? I don’t even know anything about this place and what’s about to happen here.

Duke said in a cold voice while he looked outside the car window. " Please don't hurt Mr.West because of what had happened in the ceremony, it's not his fault" I tried to plead not to hurt Mr.West again. Duke looked at me with an annoyed face" he deserves to be hurt , he left you out there and what had happened?! You were bullied by those ugly monkeys" " Duke, it was my fault not his if I didn't try to provoke them they wouldn't even do that " I explained to him trying to let him understand that It was my fault.

He chuckled. "Why are you whispering?" "I don't want our child knowing what I'm about to do to you. What would they think? Ellie laughed. "They would think that you are completely disreputable. My delicious disreputable duke." The End.

I’d try to reassure him, but Duke still had my hand. “I don’t need her to be sworn in to know, and I don’t need her to promise me anything.” “I don’t really get what’s going on,” I said honestly. “There. You’ve met her. Now you can leave.” “As rude as Andrius is being right now, I could use some clothes,” I laughed. Duke nodded before he stood to his feet. Releasing my hand, he stared at me expectantly. But not in an uncomfortable, weird way. No, in a patient, take your time kind of way. If that even makes sense.
