She missed the shot, and the next instant, Joseph kicked the gun from her finger, and it fell a few feet away from her. She got hold of it in an instant, but her husband held her hand. “Let me go, Joseph!” She shrieked. In the struggle that ensued, two rolled upon the floor, her finger on the trigger, but his hand holding hers from firing. Lettie finally got an opening, kicking him right on his groin, and she straightened up, while the hurt man held his precious spot amidst moans of pain.
