the shower” Viviana said sitting on the bed crossing her arms. I furrowed my brows and looked at her strangely, either she’s very perceptive or she’s a damn mind reader. “mmmm I say both, but I don’t want to sound too presumptuous” she said inspecting her nails. WHAT THE FUCK ‘of course she reads minds she’s a witch’ Alec said as he rolled his eyes in my head. She looked up at me a bit shocked “so you have someone in your head too? That is so cool, does he have a name too?” Viviana asked intently staring at me. ‘yeah I’m Alec’ my wolf said without hesitation in my head, what the actual fuck “Hi Alec” she said excited he answered her. ‘Alec you shouldn’t be indulging her to read minds’ he hu

The chakra, a concentrated form of life energy, was the key to unlocking the power of the giant statue with twelve big eyes that stood at the center of the hideout. The ritual was arduous and demanding. It required them to channel their chakra alongside the Alphenos, weaving it into a complex tapestry of energy that would bind the statue's power to their will. Days turned into nights, and nights into days, as Lyca and Drake tirelessly poured their energy into the ritual. Their bodies grew weary, their minds strained, but they persevered, driven by their unwavering belief in the cause of the Werewolf God Destroyers.

More wolves tried to leap at me but I used magic to blast them all out. Cedric had slain over twelve wolves and he was still combatting more. Hilda looked happier jumping high in the sky and landing on unsuspecting wolves back while stabbing them. Suzy equally blasted the lot of them with magic as well as bit them and spread vampire venom in their veins. It looked like we had the upper hand but something else bothered me immensely. The warlock we had bonded by dark object had broken free with the help of the wolves and he was massaging his wrists and stretching his neck.

“Aiden’s alive. He’s not hiding anymore. He’s planning something bigger than the Peak.” “I figured,” she said. “But you know more.” Micah nodded. “He’s found something. Something old—called the Hollowpact. It’s not a weapon in the way we think of it. It’s… ancient, forbidden magic. Something that was locked away when the god-wolves still walked freely. He’s bent it into a form—something he can wield. And it works.” Vivianne’s spine straightened, tension sharp as wire. “What does it do?”

He is known to be tall and has followed a path that distinguishes him from other warlocks, leading to significant destruction and numerous deaths. This individual possesses considerable power and abilities that some witches may no longer possess. Currently, witches practice spellcasting with balance and intention. We are strong and limitless but only need power when it is used; otherwise, it remains dormant. For those needing this power, love is essential, though it can also lead to its undoing. This information is provided as a precautionary measure, although it is hoped that it may not be necessary. Be aware that while I have not met you, I hold concern for you. The image of the man being deflated replayed in my mind, intertwining with the countless buzzing phantoms behind the curtain, creating a hellish tapestry. Just then, I suddenly remembered something. When the wealthy woman left, I glimpsed what seemed like an extremely faint, birthmark-like honeycomb pattern on the inside of her wrist. My heart clenched, and I stiffly turned to look at Nicholas, who was still flailing around in the living room. Now illuminated by the light, the honeycomb pattern on his skin was incredibly clear. It was no longer faint but rather etched deep into his skin as if viscous honey was slowly seeping out from his pores.

The witches, with their ancient knowledge and mystical powers, prepared to perform the rites that would free me from the bonds that tethered me to Lucius. The lead witch, her eyes gleaming with an otherworldly light, approached me with purpose. Her hands moved deftly, tracing intricate patterns in the air as she began the ritual to remove the mark that Lucius had branded upon my skin. I gritted my teeth against the pain, feeling the searing heat of the magic as it worked its way through my body.

The adults’ eyes softened, the children watched with wide-eyed wonder, and Oliver clapped his hands together with boyish enthusiasm. “Tonight,” the elder continued, “we will help you call your wolf.” My breath caught. “You… can do that?” She smiled knowingly. “Not for ourselves—we don’t need to. But for others? Yes. That is what we are meant to do.” They shifted closer around me, the circle tightening. The fire blazed higher, fed with herbs someone tossed into the flames, and the air filled with a sharp, earthy scent. The adults began to hum low, steady notes that thrummed like a heartbeat. The children joined in, their small voices weaving between the deeper ones.

"But that is the only sensible explanation. Even a witch cannot resist the power of another witch, unless she intentionally defends herself. Based on my knowledge, a situation as that which you experienced can only happen if you're being veiled by a higher witch. A very powerful one. It is very possible you will have no knowledge of it. But something like a contact with this witch, or something similar, can provide you some protection." Her words seemed to create more puzzles as she spoke. Did it mean a witch was intentionally protecting him? But why? Who could it possibly be? Or perhaps, Mortha was mistaken. ****† It was night when Ulric reached the designated spot outside of Howling Ridge.

Ilyra explained, her voice gentle but firm as she held the old woman’s hand. "The Nexus? You're both fools if you think you can just walk into the center of the marsh and take what you want, because the path is guarded by the Drowned Witches now," Hestia said, and she looked up at me with a grim, knowing smile that chilled me to the marrow. "They are the spirits of the women your pack threw into the black pools during the raids, and they’ve spent the last twenty years waiting for a Rauvenhollow wolf to come back so they can pull him down into the silt and keep him there forever."
