“Sorry, I’m a bit out of it.” She shrugged, and opening the small door in the gate. She had no umbrella with her, I’m guessing she go out in a hurry. Who wouldn’t when their cousin was standing in front of her own home gate, and staring at her house like a psycho? “Don’t apologize. Let’s get you inside before you catch a cold.” I nod, following her through the door. The walkway is just like I remember, on each side are prize winning roses. Of different colors. Huh? When do black roses exist? I took a small detour from following Alexis, bending over a patch of those strange black roses.

This book will have a Sequel, another story entirely but a sequel of this book, everyone would love to know what happens to Willow and everyone else, but the Sequel of this book will be a story about Willow, her own story. Mine. “Mate.” I said, with a voice of longing. Willow’s hair started floating like an unseen force was causing it to rise. Hot air was flowing from her, and I felt like the final piece to my puzzle was about to be placed. Following her instinct, Willow held her palms up to meet mine, her entire body ignited like a torch. Blood red flames mixed with no other colors as it surrounded her. Her fire burned like mine. It was as if heaven and hell opened up and poured power down onto us. Our flames intertwine around each other like a cyclone. Blue and red were blending, turning so hard and fast that everyone around us was nothing but a blur.

She couldn't even bring herself to break the annoying alarm clock as this one was a customized one. The particular clock had a voice which always started with a sweet voice,"wakie wakie baby.... Rise and shine my queen..." But that was not the only reason, the reason we're never the words...nope... not at all... The reason was the voice... It belonged to Rudra... She still finds it a mystery to solve that how her friend caught a hold of Rudra's voice that too such sweet one... Groaning, she picked up her alarm clock on her nightstand, Sakshi looked at the time and said,

“Friends and families discount.” Ollie paid the florist and then put the box of lilies inside his backpack before he plucked a single red rose from one of the shelves to his left. “Here.” He placed the rose in my hand. “It matches your hair.” Then Ollie turned around and walked toward the door without waiting for me while I stood there with my cheeks turning the same shade of red as the rose in my hand.

Willow’s POV I’ve only got a few hours until Maddox will come back since, with me being so stupid and lazy of course, I’ve slept in till two again, meaning he will likely be back at eight at the earliest, ten the latest. As I’m about to head back into the kitchen so I can start scouting out some food for my very strategically planned escape, those stupid papers that bastard brought here, catch my eye and I’m unable to look away. “Fuck sakes,” I mutter angrily, picking up a pen that I had originally gotten out for the notes to my babies. And instead of going to town on the writing, I instead do it all over the papers writing on most of them,

''I'm pretty sure there's a lot of things you don't know about me too,'' I mutter, picking up one book from the shelve. Elia breathes out, ''Of course. I don't know you but I'm guessing you don't even like political issues.'' Then, I roll my eyes—putting the book back down. I look at him, seeing that he has a playful smile on his face; showing how he's just fooling around. ''You caught me,'' I walk towards the Romance section; looking at the books that isn't too cliché or too cheesy. As he stops beside me, he picks up a book that I didn't seem to realise earlier, Fifty Shades of Grey which makes my eyes widen before laughing, ''You have a bad taste in books,'' I say, looking at a book called

Eleanor was fond of reading books that were for Silas. And I was fond of listening to her talk about those books. The books that were for consorts differ from the books that were for Alphas. They had certain lessons and topics that we just didn’t have in our curriculum. From what I heard from Eleanor, their books were almost all about History, Politics, Governance, and Science. They had literature, but it wasn’t much. They don’t even have books on manners and etiquette. For us consorts, it was different. Our books and our lessons did have other subjects in them, but I could tell that it wasn’t that seriously taught. They were more focused on lessons that didn’t involve much thinking.

Willow loved it because it was a small table and chairs tucked into its own corner, surrounded by high backed walls on both sides. She had felt bad for lying to her grandmother earlier. She wasn't here to get a new book but rather read the one Loriann had given her. The leather diary had been burning a hole in her bag for days now. Gently, she placed the book on the table in front of her and stared at it, as if it would burst into flames at the first touch.
