Wind And Clound Novels & Stories

Every day is the same. Outside is covered in white, and a chilling wind tumbles through the window before storming into the room. The moment is wintry and foreboding, truly daunting to any type of fun you'd think of having.

Unlike the other elements, wind needs space. It cannot be confined. That's the only downside of this element. However, to some, this symbolize freedom." Yeah, she is making sense. "Now, you must know that wind does move objects and can be very destructive. This is only determined by the speed and strength. Master it and you can even create a tornado, Gale and hurricane. You can create cyclones and anticyclones as well."

The wind was howling, and the sparkler in her hand lit up her gentle profile. In the background, Archie's voice carried a playful tone. "Sienna, make a wish." Sienna smiled as she blew out the sparks. Her gaze almost melted the camera as she said, "My wish is for every year to be like today, with Archie by my side." A cold chill ran through me. With Archie by her side? What about me? Was I just a joke to her? My gaze drifted, stiff and robotic, back to the photo of the hands clasped inside the car.

The temperature starts to drop slightly but the air remains heavy with warmth. A sudden gust of wind sweeps through, causing the leaves to dance and twirl, as if in a frenzy.

It was now or – A sudden knock on the door nearly made me tumble out of the window. A moment later, Lacy’s face popped in, looking concerned. “Were you climbing out of the window?” she asked, walking further into the room. She had a plate in her hand filled with delicious food. “Maybe” I said, climbing back inside. “Hailstorm – that’s really dumb” she said, putting the plate down and putting her hands on her hips.

The storm rolled in fully by morning, soaking the cliffs in grey and blurring the horizon until sky and sea became one indistinct veil. Sloane stood at her window, arms folded tight across her chest, watching the waves crash violently against the rocks below. The wind hit heavy against the glass, and the mansion groaned in answer, timbers shifting like old bones.

I remained pinned beside the narrow slit window cut deep into the structural rock. She was with him again, the frail man she had never been able to let go of. On our seventh anniversary, we had plans to meet at our usual spot for dinner. Three hours passed, and she still had not shown up. I stood on the street, burning with fever, dialing one number after another. My father picked up, his voice warm and unhurried.
