Winged Demons Novels & Stories

And now… now the time was here. "Come," I whispered, raising my hands as old incantations flamed on my lips. "Come, Legion. The ground creaked. Split. Groaned in agony like a dying beast. From below, out of the darkness, a scream ripped the silence. One. Then a hundred. Then hundreds of thousands—rising as one. The Legion. Three hundred thousand demons, bred for anarchy. Some had been angels once. Some had never been more than formless until my darkness gave them form. And now they surged like bubbling tar rising up from the bowels of the world's backbone.

“Let them try,” he said in a deathly whisper. With a deafening crash, the stained glass windows shattered as more demons broke through and descended upon the ancient church. My eyes instinctively shot upwards, witnessing the horrifying sight of winged beasts swooping in and nuns frantically dousing them with Holy Water. But it was a futile effort against the overwhelming numbers. Wave after wave of demons poured in, their guttural screeches filling the once-holy space. The air was thick with the stench of sulfur and brimstone.

Trees withered and died in their wake, their leaves turning to ash, and the ground itself cracked and burned beneath their feet. As the vision moved closer to the tear in the barrier, I could see something else—something far worse. Kyantes herself, an ancient demon, was there. Her form was towering, clad in armor of twisted metal and bone, her eyes glowing like twin suns of molten gold. Her wings, vast and leathery, spread wide across the sky, casting a shadow that blotted out the sun. She stood at the mouth of the tear, his sword raised high, and behind her came her army—a legion of horrors unlike anything I had ever seen. They swarmed forth like locusts, devouring everything in their path,

Oniko asked as we sat down. “No.” I shook my head. “Are they also a part of the witches?” “No,” Oniko growled, a look of pure hatred surfacing quickly upon his face. “They are demons who used to be humans, blood drinkers, and they are very fast, powerful and deadly.” I frowned thoughtfully. “You mean like vampires?” “Yes, I think that’s what you call them.” “Vampires don’t exist!” I blurted sharply, looking back at Iditan for support. This had to be a prank or something. “They are—”

Alex's aunt clutched my hand tightly while we both focused on the… person coming down from the sky. When he was in line with our vision, I was not able to believe the things that were happening in front of me. It was not a person but… “Demon!” Alex's aunt was also shocked to see that. For the first time I saw fear on her face. Demon was actually not a human being. He had horns on his head, his face was disfigured with red eyes that were showing fire. There were also two black wings behind him. Overall, he was looking dangerous and scary. Everyone was trembling as soon as they saw him.

The broken forms of vampires, werewolves, and humans alike lying in crumpled heaps. Yet amidst the carnage, three lone figures continued to battle with the fury of avenging angels against the seemingly endless demonic horde. Enzo's true demonic form hovered in the air, supported by massive black wings that spanned the width of the grand foyer. He slammed one thrashing beast to the ground with a wild roar. The ground cracked beneath the impact. Seven’s own gigantic wings were also unfurled to their full, awe-inspiring breadth as he battled with another creature.

Bat-like wings protrude from their backs as they swarm and attack civilians. Kirin flies overhead, throwing black lightning towards the demons reaching the sky. Beel and Asmo are trying their best to protect the civilians, while Mammon is doing his best to seal the cracks and stop more demons from flying out. However, that wasn’t enough. Disfigured humanoid demons with bat-like wings and canine teeth are flying out and attacking civilians. With their number, even with the help of the demons I have with me, it is just impossible even when the hunters have started to join in as well. A few of the said demons swarmed us. Remoire and Levi fought them off. I tried to join, but my body is not list

I wondered if she preferred the heavens and would fight on their side for Abby’s soul to be released to the heavens. I wondered if she thought that Abby’s abilities could somehow free her from her time in the underworld, but looking at her now, I can see that she is trustworthy. The noise of the two Gods fighting was deafening, lightning strikes and flames escaping the ground in defense, both of them had wings so that they could fight in the air; Zeus had angel wings, feathery and white, while Lucifer had the demon wings that resembled that of a bat, the continuous flapping of their wings created more noise as well.

As they went deeper into the extraterritorial battlefield, the number of the Sky Demons’ broken limbs gradually increased, and David was no longer surprised. It was only when he saw the complete corpse of a Sky Demon that David took a closer look. These big guys looked horrifying. They were all ferocious-looking, and it was no exaggeration to say that they could give children nightmares. The Sky Demons, like humans, were a race that stood upright and walked on two feet. They had scarlet wings made from flesh on their backs, similar to bat wings. Their four meter-long fangs were exposed, two at the top and two at the bottom. They looked terrifying.

Tabitha, Cassie and the rest lycan warriors all raced outside and a terrible sight met their eyes. The sky was filled with large winged creatures. They flew all around like bats, screeching loudly. Demons! They were the demons of hell. People screamed and ran frantically for their lives.
