Wingfeather Saga Book 1 Novels & Stories

After the boys had left my room, I went through my bag and pulled out my favorite book, Night Flame, by Catherine Hart. I sat back in my chair by the window, prepared to spend the rest of the afternoon reading when a shiver ran down my spine. I jumped out of my seat and spun around to see a pair of yellow eyes glowing in the corner of the room. As those eyes drew closer to me, I realized that it was Simon, the fae that came to warn me the other day.

(Nakesha POV) My head felt fogy as I wake up wrapped in warmth that smelled of black tea and citrus. Something that I enjoyed waking up to every morning. When I try to get out of bed not only do I realize this isn’t my bed nor am I in my room, but I can’t seem to be able to get up. I then realize the reason I couldn’t get up and that was because there is an arm wrapped around my waist. The arm wrapped around me tighter, as it brought me closer to someone sleeping behind me. I almost thought what happened last night was just a dream, but the pain my neck is in really tells me that it wasn’t a dream. That guy bit me, no, that guy marked me as his mate but why. I need to get out of here and get

he responded, accepting the gift and walking away. Contrary to what I had previously claimed, I was actually deeply bothered by the situation. The thought of them kissing, having intimate relations, and calling out each other's names filled me with boiling anger. I had placed my trust in both of them, only to be betrayed. I would never forgive them for this! Determined to leave the place, I hailed a taxi to take me back to the airport. I urgently needed to book an early flight back to New York. As I settled into the backseat, my phone began to ring.

“I’ve thought long and hard about what to do once I found you. My first intention was to return you to your bridegroom, but I see that’s no longer possible.” “Why don’t you just ignore me like you’ve done for the last ten years?” I said. “Aren’t you just a little bit afraid?” she asked as she slowly circled me. “You should be.” My instincts told me Sybil was circling me to find the best opportunity to kill me quickly. Snapping my neck came to mind. If I’d had any sentiments about her still being my mother, they disappeared right then and there. Since I had the advantage of Sybil not realizing I possessed magic and years of training in self-defense, it was easy to take her by surprise like

Wiser. She didn’t speak. Just reached out and pressed two fingers to my forehead. And suddenly—everything broke. My chest cracked open. My lungs filled with something that wasn’t air. My blood burned silver. I saw wolves with wings. I saw trees that wept blood. I saw Caspian, standing at the edge of a cliff with his hands dripping crimson and his eyes empty. I saw Kade… alone. Screaming. Bound in chains made of bone. And I saw myself—standing at the center of a storm, wrapped in silver flame, roaring like the sky was mine to command.

He felt the wings, traced every vein and elastic texture, then stuck out his tongue. “How disgusting!” Although the adrenaline rushing between believing and not he managed to beat Miranda, the young man did not want to be happy for too long. He got up and spread his wings looking for Louise, then followed Phillip and Lillian to tell them the good news. Wiggy's feet were lifted several meters into the air, into the deserted hallway before a purple glow of dissolution hit his body. Wiggy screamed so loudly, his smoky wings burst into huge rips, and gravity immediately pulled him against the ground.

Samantha took a deep breath as she read: February 7 Today Lucien Blackwood, future Alpha on the Blackwood pack was born. The snow made it almost impossible for me to make the journey to be there to witness his birth. Thick blankets of snow cover the ground, deeper than I've seen since I was a girl. As Paul held the tiny newborn male the room began to spin and I had yet another vision. Fire, it began with fire and flames lashing out at me so real I thought I might burn. A forsaken heir will return bringing great conflict to the pack. The new Alpha will have to be wise, be just, and open to new beliefs. If he turns his back on this heir all will end in corruption and everything the pack has wo

Because from her back— Light began to shimmer. Soft at first. Then brighter. Golden particles gathered like fireflies before dawn. Fabric at her shoulders shifted slightly as something pushed outward. The faint outline of wings began forming beneath the glow. Saraya kept crying, unaware. Behind her, magnificent golden wings slowly erupted—large, radiant, translucent. They unfurled gracefully, glowing like sunlight through glass. The entire hall fell silent in awe. King Basil straightened. Phoenix’s jaw dropped. Vidhant whispered, “Whoa.”
