Rain’s POV I didn’t bother to look around where my treasure had brought me to after the ritual. My body was humming with pent up energy and heated lust for my mate. My body burned so hot my clothes burned away from my skin. I watched my naked mate as he gazed at my new form. Scales and blue flames covered my body. My wings were now apart of me. I have never felt so alive and so aroused at the same time.

Faster and faster, the wall of fire swirled and built until finally the entire courtyard had been consumed in a fiery kiss. If another human had been present for the phenomenon, they would have compared it to the pits of hell. Wanting ever more power to be gained and harnessed and un- leashed, Oliver stretched out his hands as if being crucified and called the flames back to him. As the destruction compacted and convulsed angrily, he flung his hands to the heavens. The swirling, convulsing maelstrom of fire obeyed him in totality

I said and held up the map in front of my chest for Ty to concentrate. “I can feel the vibrations, Kai,” Ty softly whispered in awe before he closed his eyes and concentrated his mind. He opened our mindlink and I could clearly see the transmitted pictures of the map ! The secret passage glowed in bright red while the landscape surrounding the trail was embossed to give a three dimensional effect. One could make out various landscapes like the waterfalls, dangerous icy caves complemented with dormant volcanoes, rapidly moving rivers, vast green pastures and lastly, a giant fire ball with no outline hovering in the centre of the city which seemed to stay in eternal dark unlike the other beaut

The map had no name for the place. Just a jagged symbol scratched in the corner of her mother’s old journal, a flame carved into the center of a hollowed mountain range, circled in ash-colored ink and marked with a single word, written in a language only the bloodline of fire could read: Aitheryn. Elara had whispered it aloud once, and the flames in the war room had surged high in response. It wasn’t just a place. It was a key.

Somehow, they'd gotten their hands on my flight info and cut me off the minute I walked off the plane. Mom looked at me like she couldn't believe her eyes, as if she needed proof I was actually standing there. Then, all at once, she broke down and threw her arms around me, her face wet with tears. "Wanda, my child, it's so good to have you back. Where have you been all these years? Dad and I never gave up looking for you." Her act left me speechless, and my heart stayed cold. I shoved her back, uninterested in playing my part in their dramatic reunion act.

Takoa opens the door and we see Ryne, our Beta at the door. “Sorry to wake you, but we have a problem. We have gotten calls about a fire near the base of the mountain. The outer limits of our land. We have teams in route now.” Ryne tells us. “Fire?” I repeat as I get a vision. I see the room again and I feel the fire getting closer to my skin. Beginning to singe the hairs on my arm. I look down and rub my arm feeling the sensation. “Takoa, you have to hurry.” I tell him with a nod. They take off running for the borders. I can feel his Lycan Fin sharing his vision with me as they lead a group of royal warriors towards the fires.

Lightning crashes from the sky, splitting the beast in two. I scream from the inside because I feel her. Rhea. Fire flaring like a sun but I can’t go to her. Not yet. ~~ RHEA'S POV: We hit the front like a stone stronghold. My blades burn with my wings slicing through the air. Nyrielle is a blur of gold and red beside me, her roars shaking the clouds. The Boundless fall in droves, but for every one we cut down, three more rise. I reach the altar.

Something had shifted something I hadn’t meant to unleash. And now they were calling it a creed. “The White Flame’s Creed,” they said. I wasn’t sure if it was praise or prophecy. Jason didn’t like it. He walked into my quarters with a file in hand, his expression darker than usual. “You need to see this,” he said, dropping the folder on the table in front of me. I opened it without a word. Inside were photographs. Documents. Scans. A map of South Calaria with red pins across three regions.

Jeremy’s POV The pounding on my door shook me awake, followed by the deep, urgent voice of our Gamma. "Alpha! The eastern quadrant is on fire!" For a second, I did not believe what he was saying, tthen the scent hit me. Smoke. Thick, acrid, suffocating. I bolted upright, my wolf immediately alert as I shoved the door open. "How bad?" I asked, already pulling on a shirt and heading for the stairs. "Bad. We don't know how it started, but the flames are spreading fast. The warriors are trying to contain it, but the wind is against us."
