Taming the Fire Dragon

Taming the Fire Dragon

She is mine and I am willing to die if that’s what it takes to claim her. When the fire recedes, I look again and I realize that she’s getting tangled up in the rubble of the dining hall. She’s crushed multiple tables under her giant paws, and there are gouges in the floor where her talons have dug in, but her wings are the problem for her. Her left wing, in particular, is stuck in the kitchen. While she tries to yank it free, I take the opportunity to rush toward her backside.

Kenna and Yhendorns story was a long time coming, and it was everything I could’ve hoped it’d be! Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book - although every story by Cooper is truly a great read. So excited for what’s to come! As always, author - amazing job! :)

Freya Rose Book Three ~ Honored By A Hunter

Freya Rose Book Three ~ Honored By A Hunter

I then aggressively threw my arms out and shot open my eyes, letting out my full power as I screeched up into the sky and ascended. With my magnificent wings fanned out, I levitated into the air. I then screeched even louder, and my body began to shake when it became engulfed by electrical flames. I could hear my screech as it echoed through the woods. Suddenly a faint screech replied, then another and another, until all that could be heard was the screeching replies of other hunters. The echoes were getting closer and I smiled as I thought to myself, they're coming for me. ***

Avianwolf Reborn

Avianwolf Reborn

Slowing her movements, she moved forward, observing the blood when she noticed some bodies on the ground were burnt to ash by a phoenix fire. No one else came to her mind except her extended family. She knew they would one day hunt down Emily, and as she strode to the ash, she noticed a piece of paper squeezed on the ground. Leaning forward, she grabbed and spread it. 'Bring me the avian hybrid before the sun sets or I'll burn your wings.'

Scarred Roses, Burning Vengeance

Scarred Roses, Burning Vengeance

The weight of that knowledge fell on my shoulders, heavy as the stones that stayed on the ground. I returned to the car, my own hands still shaking, and gazed down the empty road ahead. The safehouse, the photographs, all the months of planning-it was all behind me now, mementos of a delusion. Tired, I took out a cigarette, because it was the only thing I could try. I was not a serious smoker, and I did so on occasion, which largely meant done situation I did not like. My movements with the cigarette were slow and intimate, and I lit it, puffing the smoke into the air and taking a deep breath. I would need my spies, and they would find her for me.

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

"You’re the one who whispered to me in the dark when the Council was carving into my bones. You’re the 'Extinction' they were so afraid of." The figure—the Red-Winged Dante—stepped into the light. It was a perfect, terrifying blend of us. It had Dante’s lethal, massive frame and his predator’s stance, but from its spine erupted a pair of wings that were an exact, burning replica of mine. They weren't made of "Void-Lead" or "Obsidian-Gold." They were made of Primal Fire, a deep, arterial red that seemed to drink the light from the room.

Eclipsed Hearts: The Chronicle of Shadows and Stars

Eclipsed Hearts: The Chronicle of Shadows and Stars

Ash still drifted in the air like black snow, settling over ruins that had once been Dawnspire’s proud walls. Serenya’s lungs burned with smoke and power as she struggled to hold herself aloft. Her new wings—woven of starlight and fire—shivered with exhaustion, dimming at the edges. Below, Thalric’s broken crown lay in shards, but the man himself rose from the ashes, alive, his form cloaked in a new and terrible shadow.

The Alpha and Luna's Final Fate

The Alpha and Luna's Final Fate

I reach for my satchel that hangs over the nearest spike and places the trinket box inside. Vermillion flaps his wings and descends into the sky. As we fly out the other side of Moonhowl Forrest, over a cliff's edge, we are suddenly flying above the horde of Minotaur, harpies and Deathworms that have been searching for us. The minotaur shout and then point at us. ‘Wands,’ I say as I watch them now follow our direction. ‘Vermillion, can you fly faster? We need to get to Oakpaw Mountain ahead of them,’ I say to him.

FALLING FOR THE ALPHA'S SHADOW

FALLING FOR THE ALPHA'S SHADOW

“He will not reach you.” “Kairos. You cannot guard me from something inside me.” I moved closer until our foreheads touched again. “I will try anyway.” Rowan cleared his throat. “Alpha. There is something else.” “What.” “The blue fire outside. It did not fade when she returned. It spread.” I looked toward the window. Snowflakes drifted past the glass, glowing faintly blue. The Ravager was not done. Not even close. Lily stepped forward. “Alpha. There is more. The scouts said the fire is moving in a shape. Not random. A pattern. A pattern to trap the pack.”

The Chronicles of Wolves and Fire

The Chronicles of Wolves and Fire

Their wings spread wide until they broke through the thin walls of the place I’ve called home for over a year. My attention flickers to the helpless fish near my bed, and he watches the scene before him with big, pressured eyes. But he’s safe. For now. With a fiery breath, Finn torches the bag on the floor. Silver and gold burst out from the magically enclosed bag. The spellbook burned as it wafted through the air, singed and burning, causing ash to drift about. "Stop. Stop!" It burns my palms, but the paper is nothing more than crisps of ash when they hit my skin. I sink to my knees staring around at the destruction of my home. All my hard work lies in ashes, and there’s nothing I can do ab

Time to Spread My Wings

Time to Spread My Wings

He grabbed his phone and barked at Bernard, "Drag Wanda back here right now. I want her at Jilly and Harvey's engagement party, and she'd better congratulate them in person!" After that, Dad dove headfirst into planning the engagement, micromanaging every little thing himself. Bernard, who was supposed to get in touch with me, called nonstop for three days, but all he got was nothing. Even when he tried to track me down, the only thing he dug up was my last connecting flight. It was like I'd just disappeared off the face of the earth. Everything about me stopped cold the day I left home. Bernard began sweating bullets and could barely spit it out to Dad. "M-Mr. Swain, Wanda's… I think she's
